It felt cold. It was dark. I was alone. I never knew exactly how it happened, but it happened so fast. Too fast. And now I was by myself like usual, but this felt different. It felt as if someone had used a pocket knife and carved a hole in my chest. This new wound was raw and burning causing me to curl up and hold my chest in attempt to keep myself from falling apart. The thought never occurred to me that the shadows from under my bed would take everything away from me even after I threw the covers over myself so I could block them out. There must had been an opening and now the boogeyman had come back for revenge, a revenge that took her away. Now, I have to try to regain what I lost without falling apart. I'm coming to find you.
