A big shoutout and thank you to marvelatstan, it's because of Natalie, that it's only been a week and a half - two weeks since the last chapter came out. We are now co-writing this book. I'm so thankful to have her creativity and influence to help me. I think there's maybe 6 chapters left in this book, there is a sequel to which will be way longer than this trust me! - Also thank you LoveAlwaysBucky for commenting!
Mother of Dragons: We've landed and we are getting baggage now, where do you want us to meet you?
Katy: I'm just pulling up to baggage claim, I'll meet you at the curb!!!!!
Katy flipped off a driver that cut her Range Rover off, as she pulled up towards terminal two of the Sacramento airport. It was finally starting to show true California weather in June and it seemed to bring out the worse in its drivers. When she got a good spot by the doors, she turned her red car off and pulled her rose gold sunglasses on in exchange of her driving glasses, throwing those in the center console.
Leaning up against the newly washed car that Natalie's boys helped her do yesterday while their mother packed, she went over her checklist of things she needed to accomplish before moving. People didn't really seem to pay much attention to her, she fit in, wearing overall shorts, with a crop top under, a red bandanna folded to make a headband, kept her hair in place with a knot as well, she finished the look off with white and gold stripped Adidas. Katy looked around for airport security hoping no one would ask her to move, but before she could worry anymore the people she has been waiting for came out the doors.
"Oh God, you could have warned a friend it would be this hot!" Katy laughed as she made her way towards Netania who was wearing her signature bomber jacket, Game of Thrones t-shirt and capri pants. They meet just a few feet from the car hugging each other.
"Why does she get the first hug?" Katy looked over Netania's shoulder and straight at Sebastian who wore a matching Game of Thrones t-shirt, jeans, boots and his pageboy hat. Laughing, Katy pulled away from Netania, walking over to Sebastian while she had the trunk popped open on her keyfob.
"How many people thought you were a couple?" Sebastian pulled, the younger woman in for a hug and snorted, before shaking his head.
"Surprisingly no one, it was more people thought we were siblings. Aren't you just a cute set of siblings? You two just look alike don't you?" Sebastian tried to imitate people that he and Netania has encountered on their travels from Atlanta, as he put their bags in the back of Katy's car.
Netania had already gotten in the back seat of the car and she was already snoozing away. It didn't surprise Sebastian all that much, the flight had been noisy and on the aisle they shared with a old lady who had many stories to share. As quietly as they could, both Katy and Sebastian closed her trunk, she passed her keys over to him.
"You do know I've never been to Natalie's place right? So I have no clue where we are going," the two of them stared at each other, Katy smiling at the older one of them, while he looked at her in confusion.
"See, I'm not gonna have your life on my hands. Your fans are vicious, as I am one of them, and your girlfriend is my best friend as well as my cousin. I'm not saying I'm a bad driver, but I've one been driving for 10 months. Don't worry, I'll be the GPS and we'll get there in no time." Katy turned before Sebastian could say anything else and got into the passenger seat, while he sighed in defeat with a slight smile on his face, he was so close to seeing his girlfriend in person and not on his screen.
