Chapter Eighteen; Talk

Bre's POV
Sunday / 12:00 A.M.

   They press play and the music starts. "It's not just me, no, you feel it too, you know and I know, we lost the lotto, it's like our love cut the line in two, we're on different sides though, lost in the echo."
"Our lips are moving they're making words"

Once the song is over they stop it. "What do you guys think?" Zach asks looking at us. "Do you like it?" Daniel asked.
All of us girls had different reactions. "I love it!" Morgan said. "You guys sound amazing!" Emma said. "Oh my god just play it again." Ella said and they laughed. Mackenzie was just dancing so that told them she liked it.
I stayed quiet for a moment. They all looked at me concerned as I stared at the ground. "Do you not like it?" Zach asked.
"I think.." I pause and they all look at me. "That we found which song we should sing tomorrow."
"I thought we were gonna sing On My Way?" Mackenzie asked. "We already practiced!"
Zach looks at me too. "Yeah, are you sure you guys could learn it in time? It's only eighteen hours."
All of us girls shoot our heads up and stare at him. "Are you underestimating the power of limelights? Because you might be our friends and all now, but we're still fans."
They play it once more and I nod. "I think I've got it." The other girls nod and the boys look at us. "Do other limelights do this too?" Corbyn whispered to Jonah and he shrugged.
I start the song and after it's done we all smile and high five.
