Bre's POV

"Morgan, calm down. It's okay." She nods and takes a drink of the water we were given. I run through the song on my guitar while humming along.
After I do that, I start strumming through other random songs. I take a deep breath when the guy who was calling people came back into the room and I squeezed my eyes shut.
Please not us please not us please not- "Emma and Ella Paige?" I let out the breath I didn't even realize I was holding and sat back in my seat. I saw two girls get up and walk out.
They looked the exact same. Twins. One of them looks back and I gave her a smile and a thumbs up. She smiled back and mouthed "thanks."
Like 10 minutes later, the guy came back out again. Morgan and I looked at each other. "Breanna and Morgan Matthews?" I choked on my water. Morgan patted my back and pulled me up and into the room.
We stand on the x's and then look at Katy, Luke, and Lionel. Katy speaks first. "What are your names?"
"My name is Breanna Matthews." She smiles at me.
"My name is Morgan Matthews." I take a deep breath and smile brightly.
"Are y'all two sisters?" Luke asks and it takes everything I have to not say 'obviously' so I just nod. Then Lionel speaks.
"How old are you?" I take another deep breath before speaking.
"I'm seventeen." I look at Morgan and I knew that only I could see it, but she was absolutely freaking terrified. I could read her like a book. She took a breath.
"I'm nineteen." She smirks. She always teased me about how she was older so I mocked her. "I'm NiNeTeEn." I didn't even think about where we were until the judges laughed. My cheeks turned a deep red and I laughed and looked down.
"What are you two gonna be singing?" Morgan and I smiled at each other before turning back to the judges.
"Your Side of Town by Maddie and Tae." We say at the same time. I pull out my guitar and Katy stops us.
"What other instruments do you play? I saw you playing a ukulele in the lobby." Morgan's eyes widen and she looks away.
"I play thirty-one other instruments. Piano, Flute, Clarinet, Trombone, Trumpet, Drums, Saxophone, Violin, Piccolo, Sarrusophone, Ukulele, Banjo, Bassoon, Cello, Crumhorn,
Didgeridoo, French Horn, Tuba, Harp, Lute,
Lyre, Mellophone, Oboe, Recorder, Viola, Organ, Keyboard, Mandolin, Accordion, Baritone, and English Horn."
"You can start singing whenever." Lionel says and we nod.

Morgan has the ponytail
Pretend only Bre has a guitar

"You better stay, stay,
on your side of town.
Cause I'm done, done,
with all this breaking down

Boy this time you're
Gonna hear me out
You better stay, stay,
on your side of town

Don't want your headlights on my road
Door to my heart is closed
If you can hear that train running down the tracks
You're way too close

There's an a no-trespass sign on the county line and it reads your name
You better just pretend there's a barb wired fence and a barricade

Stay on your side of town, stay on your side of town
Stay off my stomping grounds, stay on your side of town

Ain't got no time, time for your apologies
I tore your page out of my biography
You'll never do again what you did to me

Ain't got no time, time for your apologies
This place ain't big enough, baby, for the both of us
You had your chance to have my love
And screwed it up

There's an a no-trespass sign on the county line and it reads your name
You better just pretend there's a barbwire fence and a barricade

Stay on your side of town, stay on your side of town
Stay off my stomping grounds, stay on your side of town

Don't want your headlights on my road
Door to my heart is closed
If you can hear that train running down the tracks
You're way too close

There's an a no-trespass sign on the county line and it reads your name
You better just pretend there's a barbwire fence and a barricade

Stay on your side of town, stay on your side of town
Stay off my stomping grounds, stay on your side of town."
