the world had been taken down by waves of zombies, there was a disease that could not be healed. it was some sort of flu that exposed to the air and made everyone sick, and eventually turned them into a zombie a couple days after been infected. but you were lucky that you survived, all of the hard works you did to get away and cover yourself from the dead, was all worth it. weeks after the apocalypse, three other survivors found you in the deep, deep woods. they brought you back into their safe place, far away from the disaster.
"(y/n)! quick, shoot em'!" a friend of yours, mason, shouted as he took out his shotgun that was attached to his back and shoot right at the zombie's head as she tried ti climb upstairs. you breathe heavily, they were flooding over your small group, bloody fingers craved into your shoes, screams and groans could be heard escaping their wide opened mouth.
as you and mason almost cleared out the first floor of the abandoned apartment, mason held your wrist and pulled your towards the exit door. you couldn't help but to whip your head towards the corpse, bloods oozing out of their head, their body.
a certain male stood behind a wall, looking at you with lovely eyes. he had been watching you fighting over zombies, shooting from your double barrel shotgun, throwing 'nades, all because you wanted to save your life. he slowly stalked forward, he took a metal chain and wrapped it around his neck, like a collar, like a leash. his red hair was messy, blend in with the color of blood and his creamy skin was filthy with bruises and cuts. he was you looking at him with face of confusion, he brought his hand up and waved at you.
you held the door and stopped yourself from being pulled by mason. your friend looked at you and frowned, "what are you doing? we need to get to the others before more zombies come and attack us!" he said, raising his voice as you pulled away your wrist from his tight grasp. "i- i saw something! o- or someone.. i don't know but he could be saved!" being the stubborn girl you were, you went out back to the first floor and spotted the tall male, leaning against the wall, hugging his folded legs and his forehead resting on his knees. you crouched next to him and gently, carefully placing your hand on his head. "wh- what's your name..?" you slowly asked with a soft tune. afraid you might scare or make him nervous.
he looked up to you and his eyes widened, you were so much prettier up close. your (e/c) glittering, as you looked at him with pity eyes. your plump lips parted open slightly, you were breathing pretty heavily, that could be heard by him. he mouthed, 'yuu' and smiled, giving you his irresistible eye-smile. you tiled your head slightly, confused and couldn't catch up with what he was saying. "y- you..? iyuu..? is that your name?" you said and chuckled, you were pretty sure you got it wrong, but why not give it a try?
he shook his head and giggles, mouthing his name again, 'yuu'. you pouted and frowned deeper. the zombie looked at you and turned towards the semen wall, taking his index finger and dipped it in the blood on the floor and wrote his name in blood on the wall.
