lloyd's pov

i sit in silence curled up in the corner of the cold dark leaky wet dungeon cage. i felt like tears could fall down any second as time goes on. after sitting there trembling from the cold i heard footsteps and a faint voice speaking my name "hey kid, lloyd right?", i look up and my mind immediately questions, why?...

kai's pov    

we ninja were in our rooms just talking, nya had her private room because she likes her privacy but since we were still awake she was with us. we played truth or dare and we joked around having fun , until after jay made a joke about how much training we had to do until we became ninjas it wasn't until cole questions if we even are ninjas. as we were never properly confirmed to be ninjas. i excuse myself from the group saying i need to get some water. i exit the room and head to the kitchen passing the throne room a faint light caught my sight. i heard familiar voices so using my ninja skills sneaking up to the voices. "brother please it really could be him, it really could be lloyd" "wu we talked about this days ago. my son is dead shadezago shows no mercy why would they start showing it because of a child." i gasp so that's why wu and garmadon were so shocked when they saw the kid. the kid could actually be the prince, the son of garmadon. no way. "kai..."(wu said gently). how did he know? "uh sorry sensei your highness i didnt mean to eavesdrop but i wanted to come and ask about our status on if we are ninja or not. "kai kai its okay" wu trying to stop kai from his panicked rant. "yes you are ninja kai... and so are the others as you all have successfully captured the intruder yesterday." answered garmadon . "um your highness may i ask a question?" "proceed" "so is the kid uh lloyd actually your son?". all went quiet, silence stretched for a long time. "indeed i did have a son years ago my wife and i named him lloyd montgormery garmadaon , a short period of time after his birth he was kidnapped and that led my wife to leave me, now i don't know where she is or if she's okay. as years pass my theory that, that night the kidnappers of my son was indeed shadezago i knew he could not stand a chance and that he was probably killed and shadezago had only done this horrendous act to break my family and break ninjago under my rule." informed garmadon."your highness if i may". garmadon nods ."your highness i understand that you are in pain from the lost of your child however you cant be ignorant to this what if he really is your son as your job as the king you must do whatever is needed for ninjago and ninjago needs a heir to the throne, please forgive me for speaking out of turn but as a citizen of ninjago i want there to be an heir  to continue the bloodline after you your highness" wu was gaping at how his hotheaded student is winning a fight against the stubborn king about a very touchy subject which his brother is very stubborn about. garmadon is in shock and realization he backs away to collapse on his throne holding his head mumbling why he is an idiot to be so oblivious and why his pride (stubbornness) is getting in the way. "then what do you propose ninja and brother, i for one is at a loss right now how would we know this child is mine." this kai had not thought about, he was also at a loss. the silence only ended when wu had announced he had an idea"aha i have an idea but i will need all the ninjas help..."

sorry guys for taking forever but i was really busy these past few weeks and didn't even have time to read fanfiction sorry i tried to make this a long chapter (697 words) but i don't think it is... sorry again for the wait and there will be some brotherly greenflame in future chapters.
