Owen woke to a worried blue nuzzling his cheek warbling.
Slowly he emerged into the grey light of a stormy day.
He looked around to see the ship had been savaged onto the rocks the tracks tell of the herbivores escape and he saw the young army man give him a wave from the forest line.
He trotted over followed by the other militairy men from the ship.
"Grady glad you are up your besties are the only ones to hang around"
Owen nodded and glanced at his girls he decided he would give them s thorough look over when he got the chance.
"I think we should get away from the wreck the boys dont know where we are and who knows whats out there"
One of the burly men strode over.
"Oi nero you gonna help us salvage what we can or coddle Grady?"
Nero grinned and trotted off to help while owen looked over his girls.
Nero seemed happy go lucky to own but the way hr moved and the glint in the mans yellow eyes told a different story.
The rapters were as fine as could be expected given the circumstances.
Even with the raptors loaded with supplies it was slow going and they stumbled upon a stunning site, herbivores all across the flat grassy plains.
"Looks like we may be on the other dino island...thats not good remember what grant said?"
Own did indeed remember everyone knew about it.
He breathed out and they all agreed they needed to be cautious.
The raptors stuck close to thair human.

The island was massive and so far they havnt run into danger but they all knew it was out there.

Owen was thankful to have the girls, they could smell raptors and wouldnt go near them but there were other preaditors on  the list and the ones not on it...

The mercinarys were a big help as well, he wws glad to have trained company then civilians.
Nero was particularly nimble and could move swiftly and do it up in trees and on rocks he just moved so well.
He was also rater strong.
Not that own would waste time arm wresting.....
His raptors were doing well Echo was the most injured still a little from the fight back then.
She didnt quite heal right so it took longer.
The other girls still acted like his baby's but blue wasnt, she was happy to invade his space too but she treated the other girls like she was the alpha and own knew she was now but she also treated him like the alpha.
The girls just followed her lead.
