They set up a camp for the night but echo couldnt settle well which was putting delta on edge echo wouldnt sleep unless someone was watching over her and would wake instantly and looked around trying to find what was watching them.
The mercenaries scoffed saying there was nothing owen noticed nero was looking the say direction as echo, being wounded must have made her more keenly aware of danger.
After a few days a tired owen sighed.
"Echo there isnt anything"
The golden eyed mercenary looked up.
"She is correct we have been followed and observed, i havnt been able to get a clear look but they have been watching us since that first night"
Owens gut sank.
"Sorry for not believing u girl"
He pet echo gently.
Night was starting to fall they had a camp set up when they felt the earth quake.
The spino ran like a charging bull and hit mouth open snapping shut on some of the mercenaries nero was shouting from in the tree his girls bolted blue literally dragging him by his cloths.
He lost sight of the camp just as the horrible noises started, screaching and roaring thunderous thrashing.
A deafening squeal then nothing.
Slowly he and the girls crept back to camp, the first thing he saw was the dead spino.
Jaw broken blood spewing lazily from wounds including  a mangled eye socket.
Nero stood the only survivor of his troop next to a woman.
"What happened nero?"
The man looked at him yello gold eyes looked shocked.
"This woman"
The red haired woman cut him off.
"Cheresa"
He coughed.
"Cheresa killed it....with her bare hands"
Owen looked at the spino again.
"It has broken teeth"
Cheresa rolled her eyes.
"I am very strong"
Own had to put a steadying hand on blue he couldnt prosses a human beating any dinosaur let alone a spino.
"You are the one that was following us"
Nero guessed.
She inclined her head.
"Why would echo be afraid of a human?"
Owen was so confused.
Cheresa laughed.
"I am not human this is meerly the form i chose during my evolution, you are not the first humans i have observed and i have been around them long enough to learn the language, this seemed the next evolutionary step since dinosaurs dont rule this world"
The people needed to sit down and prosess however blue went over and started inspecting her.
After owen dosnt know how long he noticed the woman and blue where exchanging growls and clicks....she was speaking with blue, he could feel the jealously rearing its head, he wished he could talk to them.
