"Were you.. like.. being serious? Did that kiss mean nothing to you?"
I looked up at him and sighed, "I don't know.. A kiss is a kiss.." I spoke softly and he groaned and pushed abutton causing the elevator to stop.
I looked at him and quickly tried to maneuver so I could start it again but he blocked me. "Madi, that kiss meant something to me.. It hurts to here you say it was just, some kiss," he said but mumbled the ending.
I sighed and looked at him, "Jack, im sorry, I just, I cant say every kiss means something. I kissed Matthew last night, but I dont necessarily know if it meant much," I said nad he looked down.
"Listen to me. I like you both, you cant expect me to just hop into your arms and fall deeply in love with you," I said quietly anf he looked back up. "I don't want you to just hop into my arms. I want to win you over, but I cant. Matthew gets all the ladies, but this one I really want," he said and grasped my hands.
My heart began to melt, yet it was beating so hard I was surprised he couldn't hear it. He was so good with words. He said it with seriousness but sweetness. And it made me want him.
We made eye connection and I looked deep into his eyes and saw something I had never seen in Matthew, Josh, or any short term boyfriend.
Love. Sincerity. Want.
He ran his thumb over my hand and I slowly stepped towards him. "Jack, I really like you. Just give me time..I need to figure things out," I whispered and he nodded lightly and began leaning in. "Jack.."
"Just because we arent together, doesnt mean we can do this," he said quietly and I bit my lip as he got closer. His lips brushed against mine. "I really like you," he whispered,
I planted my lips on his and he smiled against my lips. My arms moved around his neck and his hands moved to my lower back. We kissed each other slowly, but with passion.
It wasn't a sloppy, rough kiss, it was a sweet, slow, meaningful kiss.. and it meant something.
After a few minutes we slowly pulled apart. I gave him a small smile, my lips a burning red color, and he smiled widely at me.
"That had to mean something," he said softly, rsting his forehead against mine. I kept quiet, but my smile grew.
I reached my hand behind him and pushed the button, resuming the elevator, but we stayed in this position, just looking into each others eyes.
I bit my lip as the elevator dinged and the doors opened. Thankfully no one was there. We slowly pulled away from each other and he grabbed my hand and pulled me out. "Come on."
He pulled me to his room and opened the door, revealing most of the guys. I squealed and ran back towards the elevator. "I guess she didnt wanna see us!" Carter yelled in the background.
I frantically began pushing the elevator button, "pleaseeeee open," I whispered. The doors soon opened and I jumped inside, landing on Alyssa. "Drop something?" Jack Johnson asked, holding my dress which I had forgotten in the elevator.
"I guess I forgot it?" I said getting off of Aly. "Oh dear sweet Madison, there are security cameras. There are fans. There is social networking. Check twitter," Alyssa said and walked out.
I screamed and grabbed my dress and quickly ran to my room and closed it, locking every lock available. I put the dress in the tiny closet in the room and turned around to see Cameron.
"Erm, why are you in my room?"
He shrugged, "I was checking twitter in here because everyone was being loud. You wouldnt beleieeeve whats trending," he said with a smirk. I groaned and sat beside him on the small, pull out couch in the room.
