~Chapter IV

I lost count of the days. I didn't know how long I was in there, but no one came to give me the white mush anymore. Clean, meatless bones lay scattered about my beautifully red room. The bones were disgustingly white. I looked around. I wanted more color...

I saw a cup of tea I never drank. It was cold and only a day or so old. I dump it over my head. Brown hair.

I look at my latest scientist. I took a syringe from his lifeless hands and pushed the injection out, then took his blood and put it into mine. My skin tanned and darkened to be like a regular person's skin. I'd have to get contacts later.

I finished off the scientist and took his robes and put them on myself. They were several sizes too big, but I didn't care. Their badges are what let them out of this room. I walked to the door and it opened with a hiss. No voices met my ears like they did so long ago. I realized, though, the only reason I was not big enough for the robes was that I was too skinny. I was very tall already, though...

I looked around and found a case. The case had two small things with intense color in them.... Contacts... I frowned. These were not what I expected. I walked back to my room to get the syringe and extract more of the beautiful red and put it into my eyes....

My eyes were soon a beautiful red.

I exited once more and found my way out of the facility. I shielded my eyes from the brightness of day. Cars whizzed past me and people walked around me. I was free...

I could smell each person's sweat and blood and it was driving me crazy...

But who cared?

I AM CRAZY.
