never would i of thought
that i'd be caught up
in the middle of a war
against guns and hearts
you think that by keeping
those awful arms
in our schools,
you're protecting us?
never would i of thought
that this war
of guns and hearts
of arms versus lives
would still even be a doubt
in which side
would ever win
