"Hey Wrench, thank you for your number and I am really looking forward to meeting you at the bar.

XOXO (your name)"

Fast I deleted that text and tried my thousands attempt to find the right words. My eyes wandered again over the little piece of paper:

10 pm at the Liberty, loud music and alcohol if you are up to that ~ ^

How could he even possibly think that I am cool enough for his company and seeing us together in public? Well, the self-doubt wasn't really nice to me today. Nervous I decided to first take a shower and think about a fitting answer during a heated argument with myself, the topic of today would be "How to convince him that I can be smoother than choking on a coffee sip"

That all took some time and when I stepped out of the shower I wasn't really a lot smarter. Frustrated I grabbed a towel and dried myself while I was still wondering how I should answer. After putting on some clothes I sat down again with my mobile in my hands. Nervous I started typing something together and didn't even checked again before I hit send.

The suspense almost killed me and it felt like I was sitting on hot coals but luckily I didn't have to wait long for an answer.

"Aww, that's so sweet to hear from you. So I will see you there ^ ^"

I didn't know why but I felt a little bit disappointed from that short answer after I strangled my brain for an acceptable first text. Maybe I said something wrong? My hands rubbed over my face but I had to get ready and so I ran around like a headless chicken.

What should I wear? My eyes wandered over all the clothes I owned but that wasn't really helpful in my decision. I knew that the Liberty was more of a Punk and Rock Style, it wasn't really surprising for me that he preferred such a location. Excited I grabbed something, changed the clothes ten times before I was satisfied. Fully clothed I wandered into my bathroom, deciding what I will do with my hair and if I should wear makeup. After that construction was finished too I checked the time and saw that I was way too early. I smirked as I remembered an old song "Should I stay or should I go?" And that was exactly my decision to make, I was way too nervous and so I decided to put on my earphones and walk to the Liberty.

The night was chilly but I hardly felt it, my head was just spinning around and I had to suppress the feeling to run away because I was so worried that I could be way too awkward or everything else. I heard music and saw a lot of people in front of the Liberty. The next question popped into my mind, should I go inside or wait here? I decided to wait outside for Wrench, hopefully, he wouldn't need to long.

A few minutes past and I felt watched, I turned my hand around but couldn't see someone watching at me. I shrugged my shoulders and thought that it would just be my imagination. After a few moments, I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulders, surprised by that I let a little shriek out and looked at the person. O O stared at me and he seemed to be frozen for the moment but snapped right out of it when I started to apologize. Wrench scratched awkwardly his head and shrugged his shoulders.

"How are you?" Great that date started as awkwardly as the coffee ended, he did seem to feel the same as me. "I am great and you?" "Yeah great too, thank you." A moment of silence fell over us and both looked to another direction before the robotic voice came alive once more. "Do you want to go inside?" My eyes darted directly back to him and I smiled at him. "Yes I would love too"

Wrench seemed to be happy about my answer and so we both headed inside the Bar. I could hear "In the End" from Linkin Park and relaxed a little bit, it wasn't too hardcore like I worried at first. Wrench was walking in front of me and pushed himself through when the crowd didn't want to make a way, with his spikes that weren't a too difficult task. There was one table empty with a little reservation sign on it and he was directly heading towards it. "Sit down" his voice was a little bit muffled with all that sound around us but I nodded before I directly sat down. He chose to sit right next to me and looked at me with his ^ ^ expression.
