Jughead's P.O.V.
I arrived at Betty's home, knocking on the door.
"Who is it?!" I heard someone yell out. It didn't sound like Betty's voice but I responded anyway.
"Jughead." I said in a loud voice.
"Betty! The weirdo is at the door. Go get it!" Now I suspect this is Alice. She's always calling me weirdo or hobo. Oh, never mind about hobo. That's Cheryl.
A minute later, Betty opened the door with her original ponytail, a shirt and some jeans.
"Sorry my mom made you wait.. I don't understand her sometimes.." Betty chuckled, closing the door and walked in front of me. I walked behind her.
"Where are we going, Jug?" She turnt around, looking at me.
I walked in front of her so I could lead the way. "We're going to see Sheriff Keller." I finally replied.
"Why?" Betty asked, walking beside me. "It doesn't make since to do that. We could've asked Kevin since he's the sheriff's son."
"Not to be rude, Betty. But, Kevin is dumb, a bit. Plus, why would his dad give him information?"
Betty looked down and it looked like she was sad. I didn't mean to hurt her friend's feelings and hers.
"Sorry," I mumbled. "I didn't have any other word to describe him.."
We walked in silence to the police station. Once we got there, we went to Sheriff Keller's desk.
"Hi Jughead, Betty," He looked up at us once and then looked back down to do his paperwork. "What do you need?"
"We were wondering about Coach Clayton dying. How did he die?"
"Well, Chuck told me that when he got home from school, he saw his dad hanged on a rope in his room. Meaning he committed suicide."
"Did you see any blood anywhere?"
"No. Why?"
"Nothing.. anyways, we'll be going now. Thanks." I said, waving goodbye and walked out of his office.
Me and Betty walked in silence again to her house. I was going to drop her off.
When we got there, I decided to say something.
"Betty, I sincerely apologize for saying what I said. Do you want me to apologize to Kevin as well?" I didn't want to see Betty sad.
"I'm fine, and no. You don't have to. I know you didn't mean it," She opened her door and turnt around. "See ya, Jug."
"Bye." I said, walking away to go back to the trailer.
