Concept
Archer adj principal, superior; knowing. coy.
As the first in the zodiac; many stories talk of the rat being the smartest for outsmarting the ox and finishing the race first. With the word archer, I thought of all the animes where zodiac inspired characters are pitted against each other. and then I thought of the yakuza who are known for their tattoos. I chose a rat with an arrow through it's body— the rat being the family tattoo, and the arrow being for the archer.
This story is about generations of gang fights between zodiac families. The rats are often known for cheating their way to their win. This time at the new year corral, the archer is determined to break all the stereo types made by the ones who came before him.
