The Surface. A beautiful, free place filled with possibilities. You wish to be there with them all. Especially him. You place your face against the glitching screen that you created as your only link to your timeline. It shows your little starlight. He hasn't grown much since you first met. Those nutrients went to his younger brother. How could someone hurt someone so selfless? That child. No, that world. You won't forgive those who hurt your starlight; you can't. Your little starlight is much healthier than his youth, thanks to those sentry jobs. You wish you could've done more sooner; you wish you could do more.

You notice his smile grow more strained each RESET. During a RESET, you get a chance to see him again and just hold him. He never forgets you. He can't, not with your SOULbond. Your non-existence has caused him a semi-non-existence. Granted him quite a cool few powers and an impeccable memory.
