Okay now I know some of y'all are feelin a little salty about Ray...And I know you have a reason to. But his parts are important ;3

I did have to re-write some of this so sorry if it's not as good as I intended... And there are more POV changes than usual so pay attention. And excuse any mistakes :)

::Prodigy's POV::  

{Service Station}  

(4:42 P.M.)

"Miya, you want anything?"

She just shook her head, smiling at me before she went back to texting Jawan. And yes, I said Jawan. He had specifically asked Roc to make sure she had his number. Crazy right?

I shook my head, getting out of the car and making my way across the pavement to open the door.

"$20 on pump 3 please." I said, handing the cashier the money. I looked around and grabbed a pack of Reese's and paid quickly, sliding out of the door. I pumped the gas quickly and put the pump back as the girl in front of me started her car. Or tried to.

"Hey miss? Do you need help?"

She looked at me and shook her head, trying once again to get her car to start.

"Miss, please let me help. I can't leave you here like this. Don't you have a family to get back to?"

She looked at me for a minute and I smiled, noticing how beautiful she was.

"Hi, I'm Craig. But you can call me Prodigy."

"I'm Tatyanna."

"Nice to meet you." I smiled again and went up the her car and popped the hood, scanning it quickly. "I see what it is. This belt right here is broken. How about I give you a ride home and we can call a tow truck to take your car to a mechanic? Sound good?"

"I don't wanna slow you down."

I took her hand, leading her to the car. "Just come on. Where do you live?"

She told me her address and I opened the door for her, letting her slide in before I got back in the driver's seat.

"Who's that Craig?"

"Tatyanna." I said, calling a tow service. He told me he'd be there in 5 minutes and I nodded, saying a quick 'thank you'. "Her car broke down and I'm giving her a ride. So Tati, this is my best friend Jamiya. Miya, this is Tatyanna."

They said their hellos and talked a bit before I pulled out, heading in the direction of her house.

"This is it."

"Yeah...thanks."

I hopped out and opened the door for her again, walking her to her house.

"Thanks again."

"No problem. Do you stay here alone?"

"No, I live with my boyfriend Jason."

I nodded slowly, noticing her hesitation on the word 'boyfriend'. " So he can take you where you need to go, right?"

"Well-"

I shook my head, stopping her and gently lifting her phone from her hands and putting my number in. "Call me whenever you need to." I said, smiling as I handed it back.

"Thank you." she replied, kissing my cheek quickly before she headed back into her house. I wonder why she was acting so awkward?

I shrugged it off and got back into the car, cranking it up. Maybe she was just nervous or something, right?
