Don't have much to say this time. So uhh....lol. I apologize for the shortness though. Just something to get your minds wandering. S/O to Jada for helping me come up with this. :)
Anyways...

::Deanna's POV::
{Home}
(10:38 A.M.)
Surprisingly, the last 3 days have passed by uneventfully and I woke up feeling rested, but strangely alert. Something in my dream - although I couldn't remember what - had freaked me out enough for me to decide that it was time to get out of bed. As usual, I silently made my way to the bathroom to shower. I got out in record time and brushed through my hair then pulled it back before going back to my room to turn on my laptop. Hayden would be calling me on Skype any minute now and I have to be ready.
I walked downstairs and made myself a quick bowl of cereal as I waited. It was unusually quiet due to Ray's absence. I hadn't seen or spoken to him since Wednesday and to be honest, it was starting to worry me. It wasn't like him to not, at the least, send me a text to let me know that he was okay. Still, I shook the thought, knowing I'd have to bottle it up now and check it out later.
I grabbed a cereal bar and bit into it, sighing. As if on cue, a message popped up on my computer screen, indicating that I had a request for a video chat. I clicked accept and the image of Mr. August perched on a chair in what looked like his new home took over the screen. Isn't he in usually in his office by this time?
"Good morning, Mr. August," I said as I swallowed. He raised an eyebrow and I laughed, waving the cereal bar.
"Well good morning, Ms. Smith. I trust you sleep well last night."
I nodded. "Well-"
"Good, because I need your help."
"Okay?"
I put the cereal bar down as he went on. It didn't seem like he was up for employee interaction today. Almost like he was being forced to talk to me. How strange.
"Ray has been missing for the past two days. I need you to find him. Bring back up only if you need it. Do you understand?"
I nodded. "Find Ray, back up, got-"
"Oh, and one more thing."
Sigh.
He looked around and quickly began scribbling on a sheet of paper, but the screen abruptly went black as soon as he lifted it up.
"What the hell?" I whispered, listening hard. I heard two hushed voices, one female and one male. They were obviously arguing about something.
"Why did you do that? You could ruin everything!"
"Because that girl is smarter than we think. Now help me turn this shit off."
A few clicks of the keyboard...
"How long do you think he'll be out?"
"Long enough."
The call suddenly ended and I sat back in my computer chair, frustrated as ever. Something was obviously under wraps, and I wasn't going just let it go and sit in my room. I needed to go to his house and check it out, but who could I call? Alexandria? Probably not, she's like a damsel in distress in training. Ray's gone. Chres...I don't even know what the hell he's up to. He never calls.
As if it could read my mind, my phone lit up, letting me know that I had an incoming call from the one person I hadn't even thought of.
"Hello?"
"Jewel, I need your help."
"I was just calling you to tell you the same thing."
"What?"
"Hayden is missing."
"So is Ray...wait, pause. He's what?! I just talked to him like 5 minutes ago!"
"I haven't seen him."
"Since when? Where are you?"
"On the free way...I had to go do something. He ain't even come home last night though, Dee."
"I'll be there in like 15 minutes."
"Don't you live 25 minutes away from me?"
"Don't worry about all that," I said, rushing to throw some shoes on. "See you in 15."
I hung the phone up and shoved it in my pocket with one hand, grabbing my keys with the other.
This isn't a waiting game anymore. Time's ticking.

::Ray's POV::
{Unknown Location}
How long had I been here? Two, three hours maybe? A day? More?
I really didn't know. I began to lose track of time as soon as I was put into this place. Funny thing is, I don't even know where I am. But it's hot and damp...oh my gosh my hair, what about my hair...
Okay, calm down Ray, I urged myself. It could be much, much worse.
I took a breath of the sour smelling air and sighed. I couldn't even move. I was tied to some type of chair with my mouth gagged. Movie type shit, you know? Except they feed me. I've never even heard the person who's feeding me, but I know it's a girl because of her soft touch. No male would ever wipe my mouth.
Back to trying to figure out how long I've been here...it had to have been at least a day.
I wonder if anyone noticed I'm gone? Or if anyone has went looking for me? I know for sure Deanna would...I'm not sure about anyone else.
Suddenly, the lights came on, but I was quickly blindfolded. Then I felt the gag being removed and a voice at my ear. And it was one I knew very well, even though I was so sure that she was dead.
