I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Mercedez waving her hand in my face. "Hellllooo," she said laughing a little. "Oh my bad, but yea those are my homies, what about you? You here by yourself or..." I asked as I gestured towards the empty table we were sitting at. "Oh, I came with someone but they left a while ago." She got up threw her plate in the trash and began to gather her stuff. "Oh, you finna leave or you finna shop around?" I said as I picked up one of her bags and handed it to her. "Yea, I'm leaving probably, I'm pretty tired." She began to walk off but turned around to hug me. "What's this for?" I asked smirking a little. "I don't know." she giggled. "I'll text you later then," I said as I watched her walk off. " Yea, you should." She turned around and smiled and then began to walk off again.

I felt a pair of eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. I slowly turned around and saw Ra'Shae quickly turn around. "What the fuck?" I laughed to myself. I proceeded to walk back to the table. I put a hand on Ra' Shae's shoulder and it felt like she jerked away a little. " Who made my babe mad?" I asked while trying to make a serious face. Ty looked up and laughed while shaking her head. Ra' Shae didn't say anything. I decided to leave her alone for a while she'd talk to me when she's ready I guess. "Ayo where is Khai?" I began to look around and then I spotted her walking back to the table grinning ear to ear. "Yoooo that's the 3rd number I got today, I'm too lit." she said while showing us her phone, "You keep it up, one day u gon fuck around and get jumped," Ty said. We all laughed. "Yea whatever, I know Taji got my back if something goes down, ain't that right Taj?" she said as she pointed towards me. "As much trouble yo dumbass get into, and even though you do deserve to get beat from messing with people girls, yea you know I'll always have my bro back." Truthfully I meant every word I said. Khai is my homie, forever and always so you know if shit ever goes down I'll be there and that goes for Ty and Ra'Shae too. "I'm not sure whether to say fuck you or thank you, but ight cool." We all laughed once more. "I'm ready to go home," Shae said. I guess her mood lightened a little bit. "Ight, you riding with me tho so I'll help carry yo bags." I began to pick up some of her bags. Man, this girl can shop, I only had two and she looks like she got about twenty. "Who said that?! I came with Khai anyways," she said with somewhat an attitude. " What's so bad about my car, you be wanting to ride with me going to school and shit, what's the difference now?" I smirked and leaned close to her. She looked at me, smiled a little and turned away. "Exactly, plus Khai probably going to her hoes house anyways." I gestured toward Khai. "Yea, you right to be honest," Khai said shrugging her shoulders.
