AN: This has some interesting humor so, please, don't "judge." Haha.

We spent hours in the lake. We attpemted at playing chicken with Haley on Nik’s shoulders and I on Patrick’s. It’s safe to say that Nik and Haley won. My swimsuit only fell off twice, less than what I thought it would. With Haley’s help; we got it fixed before the guys could get a glimpse of anything. Back inside, we ate a quick dinner and bickered back and forth as usual.

The wind started to pick up and wood chips were being thrown at the windows. Each time one hit the window, Haley would always jump, which we continuesly teaser her about. In a friendly way of course. We put away our dishes, and as we finished cleaning up, lightning strikes, and all I could see was white for a few moments. Shortly after, the follow up thunder boomed. It was like no other storm ever. Lighting was everywhere and thunder always followed.

Nik clapped his hands causing us to all suddenly jump, “This is perfect weather to tell ghost stories!”

Haley immediately stopped, “Oh come on, you know I don’t do well with that stuff!”

“It’s fine. It’s just Nik. How well of a story narrator do you think he is?” Patrick states as we all sit in a circle on the living room floor. Nik puts a candle in the middle. I’m in between Patrick and Haley, with Nik right across from me.

“Guys seriously!?” Haley starts to panic.

I try to comfort her, “Haley it’ll be fine! They’re just stories! They’re not real, just remember that!”

“Fine, but I won’t be sleeping tonight!” I roll my eyes at her and Nik shuts the lights off.

“Twas’ the night of Halloween,” Nik begins, “Georgia was looking for a friend. Not just any friend, a special friend.”

I lean over to Patrick, “I don’t like where this is going,” I whisper. I see his smile form.

"I don't either." He whispers back.

Nik continues, “She was also looking for a toy. Again, not just any toy, a se-“

I interrupt him and stand up to turn the lights on, “Ok how is this even scary?!”

“It’s how it leads up to it!” Nik tries to convince me. “I promise! Just let me finish!”

“Ugh, fine” I turn the light back off and sit down again.

He nods “Thank you.”

I shake my head and stick my tongue out him. He puts his hands up in defense.

“As I was saying… This wasn’t any ordinary toy! It was a- nah you all know what type of toy it was. Now, why is this ‘toy’ so important to her? There she sat, watching a scary movie, when this demon! Yes! A demon! Rapes her! She sits there in pain, but then she realizes how much she enjoyed it! In anger that his rape plan failed, he hid her toy. Later, she found it and used it to her fulfillment. THE END”

In the dark, I look over at everyone else’s reaction to his ridiculously stupid story. Haley looks confused, yet irritated, and Patrick just shook his head and rubbed his temples with his hands.

“Was that not the best ghost story or what?!” Nik exclaims. We all look up at him.

“Or what?” Haley says. "Even I wasn't scared."

I get up and turn on the lights, “That was so stupid Nik”

“Oh come on! Patrick?”

Patrick shakes his head no.

I leave the group and walk to look out the window. Somehow, Nik’s ridiculous story ended the rain. “Well the storm is done!” I turn back around and see Haley and Nik together on the couch, laughing and playing footsie. I look at Patrick who also looks confused. “Did I miss something?” I ask him. He shakes his head a bit confused. Jeez, in a blink of an eye and Bam somthing weird happens.

“If so, I missed it too."

“Hmmm, what is there to do this late at night?” I pause for a moment and look at the door. I’m going against horror movie rules right now, but I just have to, “I’m going outside”

Patrick gets up from the floor. “I’ll come with you!”

“Really?” I ask him.

He looks back to Haley and Nik, then back to me, “Uh, yes, really” I laugh and we walk out the door. Haley and Nik didn’t even notice.
