"Well if your world was that bad than why don't you just stay with us and have no worries."
"I don't know. It would be fun to stay here but what about my family? Would I ever see them again."
"Hmmmmmm......"
"Oh who am I kidding I don't even know how to get back."
She started to get a little emotional and I had to hold her close to try to make her feel better. She started to get a little smile on her face.
"Thank you for making me feel better."
"I'll always help you. I just need to know if you want to go back or stay here."
"How about... you guys come with me."
I had the most shocked look on my face and was a little surprised about her offer.
"R-really?"
"Yea!" She said with excitement. "You can come with me and live your lives there and away from this place and be able to do whatever you want! And we won't be separated and I'll be able to be with my family! I may have lots of work in that world but at least I'll be with you!"
"We would love to go back with you!"
"Great but now we just have to figure out how to get back....hmmmmm....how about we go back to that same spot the portal opened and do the same thing but in reverse so I just say I want to go back. But you guys jump in the portal with me."
"Sounds like a solid attempt. Let's do it first thing tomorrow!"
"Sounds great."
She started to drift to sleep besides me and all I wanted to do was cuddle up next to her and never move.
