Eliza and Hamilton- the story of their life

Peggy's POV.

Oh. My. God. John just asked me to dance!! Turtle boy (John Laurens) walked up to me, his hand astreched, and just asked the question! Just like that!! I blushed massively and John kept staring at me, and I could hear Alexander Hamilton chuckling in the background. 'Come on Pegs, are you gonna say yes or what? Don't leave us waiting in suspense!' 'Um- yeah? I mean sure, let's go' I said, but when John took my hand, I had to pull away as my palm was so sweaty from nerves. We danced crazily to Thriller, and then a slow song came and my heart started beating rapidly. John took my waist and I put my hand on his shoulder, grinning. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Angelica and Eliza making kiss faces and teasing me and John. It looked like they made a sign saying 'Jeggy' forever, but I have no idea what Jeggy is. We carried on dancing and at the song, being sick with nerves, I decided to go to the bathroom. I brushed past Angelica, Eliza, Hamilton and John but I though that looked hurtful and mean so I decided to say 'Need to go to the bathroom, I've eaten too much wing-dings!' Eliza and Angelica smiled, Hamilton checked his phone, but John looked disappointed. I have no idea why.  I hade to run to the bathroom, but got there just in time and was sick very neatly in the toilet. Then I went over what had happened tonight. 'I made up with Alexander H, Eliza's very happy with the person she chose, and me? I danced with the cutest boy EVER, John Laurens!!!! As I made my way through the crowded crowds, I saw a boy I haven't seen before. He was talking ALONE with Angelica. I was about to shout, 'Angelica, take coverrrrrrrrrr!' but then I stopped myself. I saw a name tag on his blazer and it said 'Thomas Jefferson'. Then I caught glimpses of their convo. 'Do you wanna...' 'Sure, I'd love to.' SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
