Beginning of Biadore // RPDR - Season 6

Chapter 1

- Adore POV -

I've been sitting by my phone ALL DAY waiting to see if I made the cut for RuPaul's Drag Race season 6. My mom being my best friend, she'd naturally be the first person to call.

Just as I stand up to walk away in doubt, my phone rings. 

"Oh my god!" I scream. "It's happening!" I answer my phone.

"Hello?"

"Did you make it?"

"Mom? No, I didn't get the call."

"Oh, Danny, maybe next year?"

"I guess." I pout.

"If they don't call in fi-"

"One sec, mom, I'm getting a call." I cut her off.

"Okay."

"Mom! It's them!" I scream into the phone.

"Hurry up and answer!"

I hung up on my mom and answered the other call.

"Hello?"

"Hello, may I please speak to Adore Delano?"

"Speaking."

"Perfect. Well Congratulations, Miss Delano, you have been selected to take part in RuPaul's Drag Race, season six!"

"Party!" I beam, widening my eyes.

"Filming starts next Monday, but you will be signed into your hotel on Sunday."

"Thank you so much!" The producer on the other end hangs up. I call my mom back and tell her the news.

I arrive to the hotel on Sunday around 6 p.m. where I am greeted by RuPaul and the producers.

"You must be Adore!" RuPaul greets me in the lobby.

"I am!" I grin.

Oh my god. RuPaul knows my name!

"Hi, RuPaul!" We shake hands.

"Come with me to the meeting room, I'll have a bell boy take care of your bags." 

"Bell boy or ball boy?" I joke.

Ru laughs. "I like you already!" A bell-boy takes my bags to my room.

"Adore, meet a few members of the Pit Crew, Jared and Bryce." Ru introduces me to two men standing by the door as guards wearing only underwear and bowties.

"Oh, my, hello!" I greet them, barely letting any words out of my mouth. The men pour Ru and I glasses of water and proceed to be silent.

"Now, Adore, tell me about yourself." Ru asks, as we sit down in gray leather chairs.

RuPaul interviews me for about an hour before I head up to my room.

"Oh, before I forget, here's your room key." He hands me the card to my room and I make my way up to my hotel room, where I immediately pass out.
