·•·Chapter One·•·
A few stranding hours without the providing of her mother, Georgia found herself dining on raw meat and herbs. All she had was Alpha, Beta, Delta, and the guards to hunt for her and protect her. She was relieved at the thought that the guardians of Humboldt Forest her looking over her.
"Enjoy your stay, for you will have to return to the Cabin someday." Alpha said to her.
It was 12:45 a.m. and they had gone on patrol to view the perimeters. Beta and Delta took the left lane, the guards took middle lane, and Georgia went with Alpha on the right lane, the more calm path.
Even though Alpha had taken the right path with Georgia, he had sensed something was wrong. They had entered the ruins of Basilisk. As soon as they stepped foot on the grounds they were attacked by bandits. Georgia used her mother's pepper spray, and Alpha fought them off with martial arts. Once the bandits were down, they ran urgently back to camp.
"Wait, what happened to the camp?" Georgia muttered,"It's just rubble and dirt." Then it hit her, someone must have raided the camp.
"We must find the offenders." Alpha suggested, but when he had said it he was no longer the white-speckled black furred werewolf they knew. Instead, he was a tall, handsome man with ears and a tail.
They rode off without hesitation, Georgia riding Beta, and Alpha riding one of the guards. They had been tracking a scent for a while, but it fading, leaving them in a vast forest of forgotten memories. Then Georgia caught something familiar, the scent of bug-repellent, her mother's bug-repellent. It came rushing back, the memories all filling her mind, the chains of the past.•from DaOne234
