Chapter One

Today was my 21st birthday. I am so excited for it. Just imagine the people who will be invited my best friend Jason Black, my cousin Simon James, my parents Evelyn and Jake Smith, and my Aunt Jewels and Uncle Carter James. I had a brother but he left as soon as I was born. Thought it was not worth it to live with me. Me and my cousin were close though.

It was now the night of the party. And everyone was in their seats given to them in the invitation.

"Let's welcome Princess Rose Lee Ann Smith! Give her a round of applause."

Everyone applauded.

I decided to ask Jason for the first dance.

We danced the night away. Finally I decided to go ask my cousin to dance. Turns out he is a really good dancer. Finally he pulled me aside.

"What's wrong Simon?"

"We have to talk. But not here. Upstairs in your room."

"Okay then I'll lead the way then."

For some reason the feeling was off. I don't know where to put my finger on the situation or just the talk. But I knew something was going to happen tonight.

He suddenly pushed out thoughts as he crashed lips on mine. I instantly pulled away.

"What the bloody hell?!"

"You slut! You had the first dance with a peasant rather than a royal! What?! Did you fuck him?! To hell with this!"

He suddenly threw me on the bed. And that was the night I tried to forget. The night I tried to not think a lot about. The. Night he raped me. My own cousin raped me. The night everything fell apart.

After that I called the party off and slammed the palace doors closed. All that was left was Jason and Simon whom had a smirk on his face. Jason was curious as to why the party stopped. My parents looked furious.

"Rose Lee Ann Smith!"

"Yes mum."

"Why did you stop the party we threw just for you. You! We spent time on this for only two hours later to stop?!"

"My I am sorry but I can't talk right now. I just want to go to bed."

"No answers now, and bed later!"

"Fine! What do you want me to say?! Huh?! That Simon raped me or that my brother hated me and left?! I hate my birthday! I vow from now on I will not celebrate another birthday as lived!"

"Fine with that! I will kick you out! How dare you blame your cousin for rape! It's never his fault before that you had issues growing up! And also not his fault that you befriended a peasant! Now get packed and get out! Now before I loose my patience I will give you ten minutes to say goodbye to peasant boy over there."

I ran over to Jason.

"Jason know that you can come with me. We don't have to let them dictate us anymore. You can bring your family. We an discover the world together. Like how we wanted to in school. Please have you and your family come with me?"

"I'm sorry Rosie. But only I can come. I know I don't have money. But I will always be by your side. An only I can come because your parents found out early on, when you first snuck me in and killed off my family. But now I have a chance to be free? And with you? Now who can pass that-"

With that a knife plunged through his heart.

I slowly look up to see Simon.

"That is what you get for telling the truth. But oh so mother daddy dearest never believed you. Just like I told you they would. Now look little miss nobody will now pack and go away forever. I'll make sure you never do come back. I'll make sure the guards will murder you on site."

With that I ran crying upstairs. Packed and took all pictures of me and Jason with me. I wrote a letter to mummy and daddy dearest.

Dear mum and dad,
By the time you read this I will avenge the death of Jason's parents along with Jason. I promise you I'll kill you and Simon and make myself queen along with whomever I marry along the way.
