It had just stopped raining. He sat on the green grass. Tears cascaded down his cheeks as he remembered. Remembered her.

She was his sunshine. The light to his darkness. His everything.

He longed to see her twinkling amber eyes, her beautiful chest-nest hair, her pale face with rose tinted cheeks and the way her eyes crinkled each time she laughed.

Her beautiful laugh was music to his ears. He didn't know what he loved the most about her. Was it the little birthmark on her chin? or her cute button nose which reddened whenever she got mad? Or the way she would fidget when she got nervous? Or the way she used to boss him around as if she was the elder one there.

He remembered each and every little detail about her by heart. He clung onto the memories. He craved to look at her beautiful face again. One last time.

But it was all memories now. The day she left, he was completely devastated. Shocked to the core. He was a mess. How could she do that to him. Him of all people.

She had found a 'perfect' guy. He was not the only guy in her life anymore. She moved on away from him to start afresh with her boyfriend.

He begged her to not leave him alone. But how could she not? After all she didn't need him anymore. He searched everywhere for her. But he couldn't find her.

He reminisced about the day he finally found her. But he never in a million years thought he would see her like that. Never.

Her beautiful honey eyes were closed. Her pale pink lips had turned blue. Her lifeless form lay in a glass casket.

His world had shattered. People were gathered around him. Semeone was saying "poor thing, got killed by her own boyfriend." But he couldn't hear them. His mind was numb. He couldn't believe his own eyes.
His little girl, Motionless. Dead. No!
No you can't leave me. You can't. Not again. Please. His mind had screamed.

The sprinkling rain brought him back to reality. It had been three years since he had said his goodbye to her who now lay buried six feet under.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry sweetie, I couldn't save you . I wasn't there for you when you were taking your last breath. Forgive me sweetheart."

A single tear escaped his equally beautiful amber eyes. Forgive me please. He whispered laying a bunch of white lilies on the grave of the girl he loved, who was his world, his happiness, his everything, his daughter!
