When we had finally lost the soldiers, we were in front of a guild. My eyes sparkled as I looked at the sign above the entrance, "Fairy Tail," I read aloud. Gray started to walk in and motioned for me to follow. I was confused, but still followed. We walked into the guildhall and Gray was greeted with a kick in the gut from a salmon haired mage.
"Where'd ya go, Ice Princess?!" He yelled.
"Ice Princess?!" Gray and I yelled back in unison. Ur had called me that when she would irritate me.
Pinkie Pie responded with, "Bwahahaha! There's an Ice Prince now!"
I grew a tic mark and collided foreheads with him. "What'd you say, Pinkie Pie?" I glared.
"Nothing, Popsicle." He glared back.
"Natsu! Are you and Gray fighting, again?!?!" A scarlet haired women in armor asked 'Natsu' with a death glare.
"Hey! I'm NOT Gray!" I defended myself.
"Oh, then who are you?" She asked, a bit little nicer.
"I'm Lucy. Gray brought me here." I answered.
"Just Lucy?" Pinkie asked in confusion.
"Do I need a last name?!" I accused.
"I guess... not...?" He responded, genuinely bewildered by my rhetorical question.
"Do you want to join?" A white haired barmaid asked me.
My eyes sparkled in excitement as I asked, "Can I, really?"
The barmaid giggled and said, "Why not? I'm Mira Jane, by the way. You can call me Mira for short."
"O-Okay." Is all I manage to say before a tiny old man yells at the guild, calling them 'brats'.
Then he noticed me and asked, "Who's this?"
"My name is Lucy. I want to join this guild." I told him.
"Mira will give you our guild's mark." He said with a smile. I smiled back and he continued his announcement. I kind of listening but I was thinking about what I had remembered earlier today.
Wanting to leave her so early was stupid. If I had left I wouldn't have known she died. I clenched my fists and stopped when I was in front of Mira.
"Where and what color?" She asked with a smile, holding up the stamp.
"Umm..." I thought for a moment then decided, "Dark purple, on the left side of my collarbone."
She pressed the stamp down on above my chest and when she was done I felt a little bit better; like Ur was with me. "Thank you!" I said and turned around to see Pinkie eating a flaming stack of papers.
I was shocked, but then I remembered what Ur had taught me about different magics. "Dragon slayer..." I whispered. I didn't really mind or care, for that matter, but it means he's met a dragon. I stopped thinking about it so much, no point in doing so.
When the master's, I'm assuming that's who he was, speech was over a lot of fights broke out. "Time for me to join the fun." I smirked and headed towards Flame Brain. Gray was heading there, too, and I was gonna beat him to it.
I ran up to Pinkie and punched his face. "Fight like a MAN!" A guy with white hair said and went in front of Gray.
I snickered as I sent Pinkie flying and Gray did the same to Elfman. I learned that was his name because of Gray saying, "Shut up, Elfman!" Before sending him flying.
Pinkie came back up to me and we began fighting more. In the end, everyone was getting annoyed of each other and started pulling magic on each other, too. I smiled and said, "This is getting annoying. Don't ya think, Gray?" I said when I was at his side (at some point we had ended up next to each other). I released a little bit of magic energy to turn the air around me cold.
