"Two creams, one sugar" I said as I watched the tender prepare my order. I stopped to grab a few napkins before I set off to the library.

Walking up to the library door, I had noticed something out of the corner of my eye. It gave me this uneasy feeling, like someone was watching me. I turned quickly in its direction only to find that there was nothing there but an old truck, or so I thought.

Entering the library, I dropped off my old books and made way over to the "teen" section to see what new ones I could pick out. Yes, I know that I'm 20 and I should probably be reading adult books, but once you get sucked into the world of Harry Potter or The Hunger Games, how could you ever want to read anything else?

After a few minutes, I decided on the book "Inkheart" by Cornelia Funke. I pulled the bulky, red book off the shelf, made my way over to one of the small tables in the corner and plopped down in the chair.

The sound of a stack of books being carelessly dropped onto the table made me jump. When I looked up I saw a man, a strange man who was wearing a button down shirt and a bow tie, suspenders holding up his trousers. He had smooth dark hair, falling over his eye on the one side. His green eyes frantically scanned the book that was now in his hands. I observed him from behind the stack of books that he had placed on the table, watching him frantically search through each and every one of the 11 books in the pile. There was something about him that just kept me so intrigued, but I couldn't decide on what it was. I smiled a little bit when I saw him fiddling with his bow tie, clearly mouthing the words "Bow ties are cool" as if he were talking to someone. He looked up from his books at me and I quickly shifted my gaze in another direction.

"Hello" he whispered across the table trying to keep quite, I'd almost forgotten I was in a library. It had been a while since I had heard a British accent; I wasn't really expecting it.

"Um hi" I whispered back, a hoping he didn't notice me staring before.

"And who might you be?" he asked his green eyes fixed on me.

"I was wondering the same thing about you" I replied.

"I noticed. You seem to have been staring at me for a while." Oops, I didn't realize it was that long.

"You just seem like your looking for something in these books. Can I help you out at all?" I didn't mean to sound like a librarian.

"Yes, I think you could help me, but not with the books. Would you like to tell me your name now?"

"Oh, yeah sure. I'm Chloe"

"Chloe who?"

"Chloe Martin."

"Well hello Chloe Martin, I'm the Doctor."

"Doctor who?"

"No no, just the Doctor."
