"Sometimes the smallest step ends up being the biggest step of your life."✨
Thirty long and agonizing minutes of looking for the damn key and no luck at all. We looked in trees, vases plants and everywhere we could. I have basically memorized how all plants look like in here.
"Someone, open this damn door!" I banged the door for the ninety-third time today. It was like talking to a wall.
"Argh!" I growled.
"While I yell and bang this door until someone hears it and comes, you could help by continuing to look for the key." I said to no-mannered guy who was seated on the sofa, his hands behind his head.
"Unlike you, I already have the notion that there is no key" He dryly replied.
"You should help with something, after all this is all your fault." I raised an eyebrow.
"You followed me and you were the one who shut the door, how is these all my fault?" He asked, his voice deep and emotionless. I noticed that he had a soft British accent. You could barely notice but it was there.
"If you didn't step on my foot or if at least you apologized I wouldn't have followed you. It's your fault."
"Like I said the last time, you were on my way." he said emphasizing my.
"You shut the door first, then I followed you, if I didn't come you would get stuck alone"I remarked.
"That would be a hundred times better." he muttered. I narrowed my eyes at him, he narrowed his back. I walked towards the sofa and sat down.
"Why did you even come here?" I questioned.
"Loud music, headache. " He simply replied. I looked at him. His eyes were closed, I couldn't see all of his face because of the black mask he was wearing. It was beginning to get chilly, the cold breeze caused goosebumps all over my arms. I'm sure it would start raining anytime soon.
I hope Noah or Eve notice my absence soon before I break the door up.
"Mister...um..." I trailed off hoping for an answer but got none. I sighed.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Chase Evans." Chase Evans? As Chase Evans the one Eve talked about? The newbie? I think there is no other Chase Evans.
"So...Evans, Did you come with company?" I asked.
"No," Noah and Eve better notice my absence soon before I break the door up and their faces. Anyways, after all it is true, Chase Evans, heir of Evans Tech came to live here. Perhaps he is at holidays or something.
"And you? Did you come alone?" He took me by surprise, when he opened his mouth.
"No, I came with friends." I replied and silence overtook us again. I turned my gaze to him. His eyes were closed and he was rubbing each side of his head using his pointer and middle fingers. A cool chilly breeze passed by and I immediately hugged myself. God, please don't let it be cold whilst I'm out here. But it seemed like God had another plans because another cold breeze passed by causing the tree's to dance back and forth.
"I need to find a way" I mumbled to myself. Minutes passed and I was tired of sitting here thinking of a way, I stood up and walked towards the door again.
"Hey!" I kicked the door."Open this freaking door! " I yelled.
"SOMEONE!" I frustratingly yelled.
"Helloooo! Someone open this f-"
