2 || Reverse Time - Sea Mechanic

"My love, you need a break." Luna whispered into her lovers ears. Raven hadn't taken a real break in days.

It was still not as bad as their first few months in space, on the ring. Luna had to carry Raven to bed as she fell asleep whilst working.

"I'll take a break when this damn regulator works again." Raven raised her voice.

Luna walked to be behind Raven, placed her hands on her shoulders and gently started to in them. She felt Raven shift slightly and rest her head, sideways, on Luna's soft hands.

"You need a break, it's been days since your last one." Luna whispered once again.

Raven tried to stand up, slowly. Her face showing a slight sense of pain which caught Luna's attention. Raven had always tried to work through the pain she felt. Overtime she thought that her leg would heal, even if it would be very slow. If anything it seems to be getting worse by the day.

"You're in pain?" It came out as more of a question. Raven nodded, not facing Luna.

"Here, allow me." Luna spoke again, this time at a normal speaking level, this sent a shiver does the other girl's spine.

"No." Raven spoke finally, loud, not aggressively. "I don't need help with it. I'm...fine."

Luna wished that she could just reverse time to when raven was shot. She wished she could heal raven herself. She wished she could have been the one to be shot so Raven wouldn't have that pain.

"Raven, I love you. I would do anything to stop the pain, to take it away from you, to fix your leg. You know that. Don't you?"

Raven stopped in her tracks. She didn't move. She spoke instead, emotion flooding her body, emotion she had tried to hide.

"I know that. I do. I have had this pain to deal with for longer than you could have helped. Longer than anyone knows. It doesn't go. THE MEMORIES ARE STILL THERE. I CAN'T GET RID OF THEM." 

Luna quickly ran to see her face, the woman she loved. The strong, powerful woman she loved. She placed her fingers underneath Raven's chin, raising it slightly so she would face her.

"If I could reverse time, stop the bullet, take the weapons away from those you loved, shield you from the horrors they caused, I would. We have now and the future. So many new memories we could make." Luna used her free hand to reach for Raven's hand, clutching onto it as if for life when she found it. "So much time to heal, love and fix."

Raven moved closer to Luna, only to rest her head on the other woman's shoulder, letting the tears she held escape. Sobs weeping from her damaged body. Luna clasped Raven's fragile body, letting her cry into her.
