Tavis' POV

I heard Hayden sigh. "I've never told this to anyone so please don't tell ANYONE."
" Ok."
"It all started when I was 13 years old.( I'm 15 now. ) I was not at camp halfblood yet. But anyway I didn't have any parents. My mom was killed when she drowned when we were on a ship. Only me and a few others survived.  We made it safely to New York. But I had no where to go. Hesphestes didn't do anything. I had no home to go back to. No money. No nothing. I found a gun. I knew it would be better to burn out then fade out. There was nothing worth living for.  Just as I was about to pull the lever, a girl about the age of 11 walked by. She saw me. 'Don't give up on life. You have help coming on the way. Don't give in.' she said gently while pulling the gun away. I didn't know she was. When she stood up I saw her. She had curly brown hair that in the sun turned blonde. She wore a pretty black dress with black leggings. She had boots on. I couldn't believe that I was 13 and an 11 year old saved my life. After she gave me a necklace with 3 simple beads. She said that they stood for faith hope and charity. I never forgot her. I still have her necklace to this day. I'm pretty sure that girl...is Eliza.

Eliza's POV

I was standing outside Hayden's room. Like Percy would say, I was pulling a Grover. I can't believe it. All these years. It was Hayden?!?! He still has the necklace? Woah. I didn't see this coming.

The only reason why I helped him was because he probably didn't recognize me for the ship crash. My dad survived and we were both okay. But when I went on the ship and I first saw him...I fell in love with him. He was so cute and funny. 

I gave him a 20 dollar bill along with my necklace. After that, I thought I would never see him again. But the fates proved me wrong.

I wanted to talk to Hayden as so as Tavis left. I heard him get up. I quickly hid behind the door. "Don't worry bout that man. She's a strong one. And so are you."

After he left I stood and accidentally ran into Hayden. "You heard the whole thing didn't you?" "Guilty as charged." I flashed him a nervous smile. "Anyway, I never got to thank you for saving my life that day. And ummmmm,"he stuttered,his face turning red," I may or may not have a crush on you." "Wait, WHAT??!?!?!" "I have a crush on you." He said quietly,confirming it. "I have a crush on you too." And with that I kissed him. Then, of course Hope popped out of nowhere, video taping the whole thing. "What?"she grinned sheepishly. "HOPEEEEEE!!!!" Hayden and I groaned. So much for romantic.
