Shadow

'Goodbye Aizawa'

You just arrived at the company it's in a total different city and less crowded than in Tokyo.

You went up to the 21st floor and knocked on the door of your new boss.
'Come in'

You take a deep breath and open the door.
'Hello, I'm (f/n) (l/n) and I am here for the new job.' You introduce yourself nervously to your new boss.

It's been 4 weeks already since you've been working for your new boss. He gave you little tasks like following suspected ones and saving people that are trapped somewhere where they can't get out.
Beside helping people and reporting villains, your boss is learning to get  better in martial arts.

"Focus (y/n)!"
"Gah, sorry sensei"

You're at your apartment that's near the company you're working with.
'Argh, my back hurts so much, I can't focus at all nowadays. I'm so exhausted'
You open your phone another missed calls and messages from Aizawa. A grin appears on your face.
You open it.
Aizawa: I know you read my messages please answer me!
Aizawa: (y/n)!
Aizawa: how are you doing?
Aizawa: let's talk okay?
Aizawa: are you busy?
Aizawa: please answer
You: I'm doing fine but yes I am busy, sorry maybe we'll talk later, okay?

Aizawa is typing...

Aizawa: what's your address btw then I can come visit you?
You: maybe it's the best if I don't.

You open the fridge and reach out for some cold milk.
'So, have you thought about my propose?' Whispers a low familiar voice.
You drop the milk.
'I have given you plenty of days to make a decision, but I feel like you haven't thought once about it'
Your eyes spread open.
The voice that has been haunting you for months has returned.
You stare at the spilled milk flowing over the ground, trying not to give any attention to the voice that you hated ever since it spoke to you.
'I know that you can hear me.
Don't ignore me'
You get a towel and clean up the milk.
'You're really annoying me. Answer me!'
'Silly girl, I'll give you one more day.
And then I'll come pick you up, princess.'
"Yeah sure, pussy" you growl out of annoyance.
'Tututut so you can hear me'
"You have been bothering me in my mind for the last 9 months but you don't even dare to show your face. Why suddenly decide to? Have you build up enough courage to show your ugly rotten face"
'Don't be so self confident, (y/n)'
"Just leave me alone!"
'Im sorry but I can't, I just need you, darling'
"Don't you dare to call me that"
'Cute dress you're wearing btw'
"Tsk you-."
You gasp
"H-How do you know what I'm wearing?"
'Let's just say I'm here for real to get you.' The Voice snickers
You're beginning to panic. 'He was only able to telepathy me. How can he see me how long has he been here??!!' You think.
You're looking slowly around stopping at the dark corner of your living room.
"H-How d-y.." you're trying to make a sentence but you're stuttering as if you had no more control over your own mouth. Your throat is becoming dryer and dryer, you try to swallow when you see the dark shadow moving towards you.
'Remember I'll give you one more day and then I come and get you. Be more aware of your surroundings now'

You're whole body is becoming stiff.
The shadow comes closer and closer you want to run or scream for help but your body won't move.
A cold hand from behind goes on your shoulder
shivers go down your spine.
You hold your breath.

"Boo"

You burst out in tears

Time skip

The voice left and the dark shadow is gone. You're now sitting on the floor staring into emptiness. your body feels weak because of the the shock.

The void gobbles you up and you fall asleep.

-Time skip-

Ever since I left my house I can see this shadow following me around, in the bus, on the streets. I'm trying to ignore it and let it get bored of me but it won't disappear. I can't see it but I know and feel someone present. It's making me sick.
I enter my boss his room and walk slowly, aware that the persons still behind me, towards my boss.

"Good morning mr INSERT. You called me for?"
(I'm too lazy to give him a Good Boss name)

He hands me a paper.

"Yes, I've got you a new job. I am sending you to check a building that has been reported. You're going solo so you need to be careful. They reported that something unknown but probably dangerous is hidden inside the building by villains. Everything else you need to know like the location is written on the paper I just gave you. We don't want anyone to freak out before we are sure if it's dangerous ,Understood?"

"Yes boss, uhm.." you try to sign with your eyes that someone else is in the room. But he doesn't get it and frowns in confusion and continues.

"I expect you here tomorrow evening with a report of what is or not is hidden inside the building, understood?"

"Understood, can I leave mr INSERT?"

"Yes, I see you tomorrow evening, (y/n)"

You turn and close the door silently behind you. A sweat drop rolls over your head. The corridors empty but you know someone's there.

'Don't stalk me' you say in your mind.

You look at the paper that your boss had given to you. You read it carefully making sure nobody can read it. Then you fold it quickly double and walk through the corridor.

'Act cool, just pretend you don't see it, (y/n).' You tell yourself.

You exit the building.
'I need to get rid of it'
You're on the station. You get in the train and sit down next to a window. You grab your phone out of your bag. 3 messages and 2 missed calls from Aizawa.
You grin.
You turn off your phone and put it back in your bag. You look outside trying to forget the feeling of being stalked.
But it makes you feel even more uncomfortable.
- you have arrived -

'Okay, so the building is at the end of this lane'
You wander over the lane trying to act natural and and totally not looking uncomfortable.
You're at the end and you see this abandoned building of three floors. you look nervously behind you to check if there is someone. no one. you activate your quirk and become invisible. You walk silently through the wall. You inspect everything carefully. It's just a normal office. Nothing suspecting. You jump and go through the ceiling up to the second floor and then third floor. Nothing. 'First second and third floor are clear. They're just worrying about nothing.' You think but then you can see something moving on the wall. It's a shadow but not yours. When you become invisible you and your shadow disappears.
You snap
'I'm so done with this'
You become visible again and you turn around pointing to something right infront of you.
"I know you're here, show yourself coward pussy"
Something rattles behind you and when you turn there is a big rat.
"Eeekkkkkk" you scream.
You turn and run away from it out of fear. making you bump into something and trip on top of it.

Sorry for not updating this story for a long time hahaha.
