You and everyone else texted for almost a year. Lucas has become your bestfriend and you grew small feelings for the guy.

Lucas and you planned to meet up in New York so you two can watch the ball drop for New Years.

  Sitting at the airport, section b, and 9:00 pm you waited for Lucas to come.

  "I'm in section A."

  You texted back, "I'm in B. I'll come there"

"Okayy ❤"

  You walked over to section A hoping to see a handsome face standing there.

  You feel someone walking behind you, you turn around and see Lucas walking up to you.

  Once you two had made eye contact, you both ran, you jumping into his arms.

  "Hey."

  "Hi!" you screamed in excitement and joy hugging your maybe soon to be boyfriend.

You both hugged for some seconds before letting go.

That night, you guys booked your own rooms at a 5 star hotel.

You left your bags there and headed out to get dinner.

You guys ate at a pizza and went to get snacks for the ball drop.

  The whole place was crowded with people. Luckily, you two pushed through the crowd getting close to the front enough to see the ball clearly.

Lucas looked at you straight in the eyes.. leaned in and kissed you. You couldn't resist. You kissed him back.

Letting go, he held your hand and asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?".

"Yes!!" You hugged him.

You both went to your own rooms, heart fluttering, and so happy.
