13. Guess who's back?

~Miiku~

~The next night~
"Where are Naruto and Sasuke? I expected this kind of behavior from Naruto but not Sasuke" Sakura spoke up, Kashi waves her off "They'll be fine" A few minutes later the door opened and low and behold Naruto and Sasuke came in leaning on each other for support.

~Stuff happens and this story is completely out of order bc I never go back to rewatch Naruto when I write this but like whatever, so basically we're just gonna skip to the next morning~

As we walked to the bridge ,leaving Naruto behind because of how exhausted he was, we chatted happily to each other. Sakura trying to get Sasuke's attention or chatting with me about girly stuff, Kakashi focused between talking with Tazuna and me and I focused on Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke. As we chatted about this and that I suddenly went stiff as did Kakashi, something wasn't right...He's here. I looked at Kakashi who nodded and looked at the bridge.We kept walking but kept out guard up, As we arrived at the bridge we saw many bodies either twitching or groaning in pain.

"Sakura" She looked at me
"Yes Miiku~San?" She answered
"You and Sasuke relocate these people to safer places" She nodded and set to work as did Sasuke, once all the people were off the bridge we walked closer to the middle when a thick mist started to roll in. "Sakura protect Tazuna, Miiku back to back, Sasuke get ready to fight" All of us nodded and took up our positions Sasuke and Kashi took out kunai while I snapped open my fans, a small chuckle was heard "How do you plan on getting me with this mist?" Kakashi revealed his Sharingan. "How boring, using the same trick twice..." suddenly water clones appeared where Sasuke was standing "Haha look at your student trembling in fear" I looked at Sasuke who smirked and said "I'm trembling...with excitement!"
"Do it Sasuke!"

The clones were taken down instantly, "Hmm seems you have an opponent Haku" Zabuza said interested

"It seems so" Haku agreed.

And then all hell broke loose

To say we were in bad shape was an understatement, Naruto had joined the fray earlier and now both him and Sasuke were like human pin cushions. Me and Kakashi have bruises and cuts littering our bodies, and I had a gash on my arm. Suddenly I could feel an enormous amount of chakra flare up from Naruto and Sasukes direction, "Nine tailed fox" I whispered just loud enough for Kashi to hear, he nods as Zazu wonders whose chakra that is.

Just as Kashi was getting ready to end Zazu with Chidori I could feel Haku's chakra flash in front of Zazu so naturally because I still cared for the two of them I jumped in front of them taking a chidori right through the stomach. Kashi's eyes widened, and he quickly pulled his hand out of my stomach but I was losing to much blood.

You know how people say your life flashes before your eyes right before you're about to die, well it's true. I saw my life flash before my eyes and I mean all of it, every single memory.

When I first met Kashi

My dad had taken me to one of his friends houses, he said I could play with his friends kid. I peeked from around my dads leg to see a tall man with silver hair up in a ponytail. Behind him peeking around his leg much like I was, was a little boy with the same silver hair and strangely he wore a black mask. "Sakumo how are you?" I heard my dad ask the strange man who I assumed was Sakumo,"Good and how are you and Kushina? I see you've brought your little one with you" he replied.My dad smiled and watched as Sakumo bent down to my height and said "Hello little one, what is your name?" I looked at him and tilted my head "My name's Miiku" He smiled and patted my head "That's a very pretty name Miiku, This here is my boy Kakashi" He said pushing the little boy closer to me. I waved and he waved back "Hewwo Kakashi,do you want to play?" He nodded and grabbed my hand dragging me off to some place deeper in the house. I waved at my dad and Mr. Sakumo who waved back before going back to talking.

"Hey Kashi! Guess what today is!" I yelled letting myself in with the spare key Uncle Sakumo gave me. Good thing Uncle Sakumo left this morning on a mission or else he would be mad at me for yelling this early, Kashi yelled back his voice laced with sleepiness "Go away I'm trying to sleep here! And didn't I say to stop calling me Kashi!" I giggled as I made my way to his room. "But Kashi today is the first day of school, don't want to be late now do we?" He shot up like a lightning bolt "Why didn't you say so earlier?" As he dashed to get his clothes and brush his teeth I went to work making some eggs and Bacon for him to eat as well as a glass of Orange Juice. "Kashi, I made you Breakfast!" He ran out of his room and was sitting in the dining room chair so fast I didn't even see him all I felt was the air as he rushed past me and into the seat.I blinked a few times "Well you're certainly hungry now aren't you?" He chuckled nervously, "Sorry I'm just ready to eat" I nodded and set down the plate and Glass of OJ before him, he thanked me before eating his meal.

It was dark out already, I hadn't seen Kashi all day and it was starting to storm, "Boom!" I jumped at the close sound of thunder as it rained outside, flashes of lightning painting the grayish black skies white with bits of yellow and blue. I was walking to Kashi's house when my heart suddenly felt heavy, a horrible feeling of dread overcame me as I ran all the way to Kashi's house. I slammed open the door quickly throwing off my shoes I ran to Kashi's room but quickly stopped, there in the hallway was Uncle Sakumo....dead. Hovering over his body was Kakashi crying slightly with his fists clenched, All I could do was stare too shocked to comprehend what had happened. I had heard about him being ridiculed for saving comrades on a mission instead of completing said mission but this...for it to be so bad for him to do this was just....horrible but horrible didn't even begin to describe it. Finally I spoke up "Kakashi?" He looked up at me and clenched his fists tighter. "Why are you here?" He gritted out I sighed "Because I was worried about my best friend Kashi" he walked up to me and said two simple words "Get. Out." I didn't move an inch. " Finally something on him snapped as he began to pound his fists against me and started to scream "I SAID GET OUT! WE AREN'T FRIENDS AND WE NEVER WERE FRIENDS! LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Each word he said his punches got weaker until he finally collapsed against my shoulder and started to bawl his eyes out, I stroked his hair and whispered "It's alright Kakashi I'm here for you" and that's how we stayed the entire night

I was walking down the street when I ran into a boy, which made him drop the things he was carrying. "Sorry!" We both said at the same time and then laughed, I helped him pick up his shuriken and Kunai before saying "My name is Miiku. What's your name?" He grinned widely fiddling with his orange goggles he said "Obito! Uchiha Obito" I nodded. "Nice to meet you Obito! Sorry for running into you" he waved it off and said "It's fine and it was nice to meet you too!" And then ran off

I looked around at the park trying to decide what thing to play on first, I saw a girl alone on the swings so I decided to go join her. "Hello!" I said cheerfully as I sat down next to her she looked at me startled but then replied back with her own "Hi~" and a smile, "You looked lonely so I joined you" she smiled "Yea it was starting to get a bit lonely swinging by myself, I'm Rin by the way, Nohara Rin" She stuck out her hand to shake which believe it or not is very awkward feeling while your sitting on a swing, "I'm  Miiku, Uzumaki Miiku" and we talked and played together until it was time to go home

(End of the string of flashbacks)

"Miiku!? Miiku! Please don't die, not again Dammit!" Kashi cursed as he set me down on the floor. Zazu and Haku were now also hovering over me "W-why would you do that?" Zazu's Gruff voice filled my ears, I laughed which was painful and made blood come from my mouth but I didn't care "I always cared for you and Haku, even now" then I looked at Kashi "Oh and one thing before I pass out

I remember everything"

And then my eyes closed
