Naruto and Sasuke : Roles Reversed

The Valley of the End

(A/N: all the battles are the same as in the original, only the Naruto and Sasuke fight is different. Also, y'all should listen to the song while reading; it adds to the sadness...)

Sasuke POV
     The rest of the team told me to go on, and I saw Naruto walking to the other side of the Valley to leave the Fire country. "Naruto!!! Why did you leave, you hypocrite?!? You're supposed to be in Konoha with Jiraiya-san to train for the next chunin exams!!!"
     "I left because I'm tired of being looked down upon. How can I be a Hokage if people don't even acknowledge me as a person?!? They only see me for what I hold! They only see me as the Nine Tails! Even you called me a demon! You don't know how much that hurt coming from you... you were the only person to know how I felt since you didn't have parents either! I saw you as a brother, but you called me a demon... sure there's still a couple people like baa-chan, ero-sennin, and Iruka-sensei, but that's only 3 people that give a crap if I die! None of them are even my age! None of the Konoha 12 like me... that's the thought that goes in my head everyday. I thought that maybe if I prove y'all wrong by saving lives, then maybe, just maybe, I'll actually have some real friends. I don't know what I did to deserve to be called a monster or a demon cause all I did was help and protect people my whole life! People beat me up, and I let them, to prove that I'm not a monster! I'm done being treated that way. Plus, even if I come back, the council will probably exile me anyway; they would want the demon child gone!"
"Shut up Naruto! Neji, Kiba, and Chouji are on the verge of dying just to save you! Even Lee fought just so I can catch up to you! So don't tell me that no one cares about you! Sakura, Ino, Hinata, and Tenten were crying when they saw us at the gate after they found out you left! And when you said I called you a demon, it's cause I didn't know that the Kyubi was sealed in you! I thought they called you that because of your pranks!"
"Sorry Sasuke, but it's too late. They should've shown me how they felt before I left! I never knew what love was, and I never will because I was meant to die alone!"
"You're wrong dobe! Why would people be risking their lives just to bring you back?!? We know that without you, Konoha wouldn't be as loud or as fun. Please, I promised those 4 girls that I would bring back, so I'm going bring you back... even if I have to break every bone in your body!"
"I never wanted to show you this... but since I'll probably never see you again, you deserve to see this... *turns on sharingan* cousin."
(A/N:Gasp)
"How do you have that? When did you awaken it, and why didn't you tell me?!? Is that why you always treated me like a brother, even when I was such a bastard to you?"
"I never found out why I had this, but Itachi-san and Shisui-san trained me after they saw me awaken it when I was 5. And yes, you were the only family I had left, so I treated you like we were brothers. Even after everything you did, I considered you as a brother... but once you called me a demon, the bond I felt we had was gone."
"How did you awaken it?!? I demand you to tell me right now!!" I said. "When I was 5, I was being beaten and stabbed by the villagers on my birthday, which btw, no one remembered. One of the villagers was about to stab me in the eye, and I felt my vision change and slow time down. Then, I killed all of those villagers! The Anbu, your brother and Shisui, arrived at the scene when they heard screaming in the alley. They saw me with my Sharingan activated fully-formed, with three tomoes. They trained me in fire style and found that I had all the elements... you know, your dad trained me too. He said I had a lot of potential and when the time came, to treat you like you're family..." he said. "But how can I treat someone like family if they don't do the same?!? I always knew deep down that our bond was only one-sided and this proves it. I helped you, protected you, and I treated you the way I wanted to be treated, but I just have the worst luck when it comes to picking who my friends are. And now, I don't even care! Bonds don't make me stronger, they just hold me back! So, bye." He continued.
Third person POV
As Naruto continued to walk away from Sasuke, Sasuke sprinted to Naruto and tried to punch him. Unfortunately, Naruto was way too fast for Sasuke and blocked his attack. Naruto then did a back flip and kicked Sasuke onto Madara's feet, where a crater formed. Naruto then jumped from Madara's head and hit Sasuke again. This time, Sasuke was able to get up and felt some adrenaline rush through his veins. He managed to get a hit on Naruto, sending Naruto flying. Sasuke, wanting to end it quickly, made a chidori and stabbed it through Naruto's chest, making Naruto scream in pain. Suddenly, purple and red chakra started to emerge from Naruto's body, his teeth became sharper, his whiskers became more defined, and black marks started to cover his body. He then said, "I'm sorry Sasuke, but I have to do this..." Wood emerged from Naruto's arms, trapping Sasuke into place, and made a rasengan. Once the rasengan hit Sasuke, he screamed in agony and passed out. Naruto scratched his hitaite and put a note behind the metal saying,
"To baa-chan,
I'm sorry I had to leave Konoha. I promise one day I will return, but I can't take the abuse I get from everyone there. I also can't become hokage now, so I left the necklace you gave me in my apartment, which is probably demolished by now. Hopefully, you lead Konoha to be less corrupted, and I wish for you to release my real heritage.
To ero-sennin,
I'm sorry I failed you, the third hokage, and my father. Yes, I know who he is, I looked at my birth certificate right before we left. I understand why y'all didn't tell me they were since they had a lot of enemies. I promise to read any new books that you put out, so that in one way, I can stay connected to you.
To Iruka-sensei,
Thanks for teaching me right in the academy, unlike those other instructors (*cough* mizuki *cough*). Thanks for being a father I always wanted. I'm sorry I never completed my dreams, but 3 people weren't enough for me to stay in a village that abuses me.
To all three of you,
I wanted to tell all of you both of my kekkei genkai... I have the sharingan and mokuton. I awakened them both when I was 5 during one of the worst attacks I have ever received. Only 4 people knew- Old man, Itachi, Shisui, and Fugaku-san. Itachi and Shisui were the ones who rescued me and trained my sharingan. They told the Old Man right after they found me on the verge of death. Fugaku-san helped me with my fire jutsus since he accepted me as one of his own. He told me to treat Sasuke as family, but I couldn't anymore after I heard him call me a demon. When Shisui was attacked by Danzo, he asked me to kill him to awaken my mangekyou sharingan. Three days later when the Uchihas were killed, Fugaku-san gave me his eyes to awaken my Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
I know that my parents are Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. What people don't know is that my father's father was Madara Uchiha. A woman from another village found him in the river and rescued him. They got married but Madara told her that when he turns 3, to put him in an orphanage in Konoha and to give him her last name. My mom was secretly the other great-granchild of Hashirama. People didn't know this but he had a child with Mito and gave it to the orphanage because they thought they weren't ready. Then, his son gave birth to a daughter who married another Uzumaki, resulting to Kushina. (A/N: he was out on a mission when the Whirlpool was destroyed.) So I really am your grandson, baa-chan. I'll miss you three, but see you next time! Ja-ne!

Meanwhile in Konoha
"I'm sorry I failed you Naruto. I probably shouldn't have spent so much time on other things instead of training you." Said Jiraiya as tears fell from his eyes." "Naruto! What happened to you?!? I wish you would come back already... Konoha isn't the same without you. I'm sorry I couldn't stop the abuse from stopping." Sobbed Tsunade.

Back to Valley of the End
Kakashi found Sasuke trapped in wood, and his eyes widened in shock. Who has wood release?!? And how did they get it? He saw Naruto's scratched hitaite and found the note in the back of the metal plate. He made a chidori and got Sasuke out of the wood pillars. He then Shunshined back to Konoha and gave Tsunade the note and the hitaite. After reading the note, her eyes widened and she yelled, "Shizune! Summon Jiraiya and Iruka in here now!!! Oh and get me more sake!" She started crying again and the door bursted open by Jiraiya and Iruka. When they read the note, they had the same reaction. As if on que, the rain started pouring. Unbeknownst to them, it was the exact time Naruto arrived to Orochimaru's lair...

A/N: the sharingan looked cool so... this is a long chapter as an apology for not posting for a long time. I know that the picture is for like if you take two other pairs of eyes but oh well. Oh yeah, if u can't tell, Naruto is going to be overpowered.
