silence. | chapter eighteen

ᴀᴜɢᴜsᴛ 29ᴛʜ | 7:43 ᴘ.ᴍ | Sᴀsʜᴀ ʙᴀɴᴋs

Bayley didn't go silent as she said she would. Thank goodness. She also didn't change her ways and it bothered me. Alot. We managed to talk it out the day after we argued and she promised she would change.

Flashback

"Bayley!" I yelled knocking on her door. She opened it slowly after I knocked for another minute.

"What?" She asked with a disgusted look on her face. Her hair was a mess and I can tell that she'd been crying.

"Can we talk this out? I don't want you to go silent or not talk to me.." I admit and she sighed.

"I'm obviously not silent. I'm talking to you." She says pointing out the obvious.

"Yeah, I know. You threatened to and I don't want that." I say and she allows me inside where we talked for a bit.

"I promise I'll change.. I didn't know how bad it affected you. I'm sorry." Bayley apologizes hugging Sasha.

Flashback End

With the frustration of Bayley not changing and my piles of work that I had to do, I felt the total opposite of everything I said to Bayley that day after I saw the same actions repeating.

 “Don't do something permanently stupid because you are temporarily upset.”

My parents always told me this. I always listened to them with anything they told me except this one time.

Flashback

I waited on Bayley to get to my room. I called her here two hours ago and she had yet to show up. I was about to go downstairs in our dorm room to ask a question when I saw her coming with a girl beside her.

The girl departs once they get closer and Bayley looks at me with a smile on her face. We got into a argument. Again.

I said things I shouldn't have. So did she.

"I should've never helped you! Guess what? I did have feelings for you until you turned into a piece of shit!" I yelled to the top of my lungs standing in front of Bayley.

"I'm sorry. I didn't notice you. It's okay why are you -" she started to speak and I cut her off. She was still smiling and laughing.

"The point is you're a horrible friend. I am not going to wait around for you to change. This should be the end of our friendship or whatever this is.." I say walking towards the door and Bayley pulls my hand. She pulls me in for a hug.

"Don't think a hug is going to solve this. You need to change Bayley." I say with my voice cracking. I was about to shut the door in her face when she stopped me from closing the door.

"You can't expect me to change in one day Sasha.." Bayley says before I sighed and my bottom lip quivered. My eyes stung.

I love her and the last thing I wanted was to let her go.

"Goodnight Bayley." I say with my voice cracking again. Once the door was shut, I slid my back down the door and I cried.

Bayley cried that night too. She knew she hurt Sasha.. twice.

Flashback Ends

That was the last day I talked to Bayley for a while. That same night at exactly 9:12 P.M, something happened..

Bayley got into an accident that left her in a comatose state. They aren't sure when or if she's going to wake up. Her heart stopped twice on her way to hospital and this is affecting me so negatively.

I can't lose her.

I visit the hospital everyday waiting on the day she opens her eyes again. When she does, I'm going to love her with her breath in my body.

This was a wake up call for me and I hope for her too. I don't want her.

I need her.
