The Golden Forest

Jake began his day. He got out of his hotel room that he was staying for the night. He went downstairs to meet Jessie and find out what he can do on his first day. Once he got down there Jesse was already at the counter. Jake went up to her and said " Jake reporting for duty!" Jesse spoke " Your a couple hours early, your shift starts at 10, it's 6 in the morning!" Jake spoke " What? I thought it was later in the day!?" Jesse spoke " Well, check the time next time. Since you are up so early I guess you can get started on your tasks early. Here is a list of all the room you have to clean for the day, then you can get going to find a new place to stay for the night. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to take a nap." Jesse went behind the counter. Jake looked down at the list and saw the long list of rooms. He had to clean up to 30 room. All of them on several floors of the hotel. " Might as well get started" said Jake.

After he finished all the room he was exhausted. He looked down at his phone to see the time. It was 10 AM exactly. He rushed down to tell Jesse that he was done with all of the rooms and if he could leave. He went down and saw her at the counter. He screamed " Jesse I finished with all the rooms, it might have taken a while but it's done now." Jesse looked pleased and said " Good job for a beginner. You are free to go, I'll see you tomorrow. Jake asked her one question before he left " Hey, Jesse do you have a map of the golden forest? Or do you know how to get there? She pulled out a pamphlet out of the counter and said " This should give you the information you need to get there." Jake spoke " Thanks Jesse!" and walked out of the hotel. He opened the pamphlet and saw a small map that led him from his specific area to the forest. He saw the distance of the forest and saw it was 3 miles away. Jake groaned and said " Dang it, that's going to be a lot of walking." He began to walk down the street. He passed by Zyton's palace. Police were surrounding the area. No one was allowed in and no one was allowed out. Jake thought " That must have meant that everyone he knew as still inside. He ran past it to avoid his location being compromised. When he was going down the street he saw pole with posters that said " Missing:Jacob Magneston Age:15 height :5'8" Jake saw it and looked down at his phone. He saw that he only had one text from Andrew. He opened the text and saw that it was a video. He clicked on the video and pressed play. Andrew spoke " Hey Jake, it's Andrew. Just in case you blocked me or already forgot about me. I just want you back with us. We can talk this out, it doesn't have to be like this. Remember that I l..lo" Patricia walked in the background and the video ended. Jake kept walking and texting. He texted " I'm sorry, but we can't just talk about this. You all just kept this from me while you knew I was looking for answers. Don't get in contact me. And if your trying to reach me, good luck. I'm going to a forgotten place." ( skip to Andrew) Andrew heard his felt his phone buz. He went to go open his phone but he saw the notification from Jake. He screamed over to Patricia and Lance. He showed them the notification. Patricia spoke " A place forgotten? I think I know where he is going, but it's not safe. We can't go right now. I used to always visit there, when I always visited her to see if she was okay." (cut back to Jake) Jake ran down the street. He kept going straight until he looked down at the pamphlet. It had told him that he was at the location. He looked in front of him and saw nothing but streets. He didn't know what was going on. He couldn't have been in the right place. He put his hand out and he touched something. He hit it and everything in front of him Jiggled. He hit it with his whole arm and it disappeared. It was on another side... Jake put his other hand through. He walked through the whole field. While he was going through it, it was all silver and looked kind of like a liquid. He went through. He opened his eyes and saw a forest, the golden forest. Jake looked at the trees and said " My dad always told me stories of these trees... until mom left. That's where there was no more stories and not much love as there used to be." The trees were goldish brown, the leaves were pink. They fell rapidly making the whole ground covered with pink leaves. Jake moved the leaves off of the floor with a gust of wind. He was on a trail. He walked forward for several minutes, until he found a town. A town with all the buildings burnt down and broken. Jake looked up and saw it. The palace, bigger than any building in the town, and the biggest palace he had ever seen. He walked through the town, looking left to right seeing broken family portraits and family pictures. All of these families being broken down. Jake spoke " They didn't just kill my mom, they made a massacre of the people. They destroyed the families and wiped the knowledge of them out of existence. They were all forgotten. Just like my mom." He kept walking down the street until he made it to the main street of the palace. The palace was a bright pink with silver and gold. Jake walked to the door, he was going to push it open but before he could even put his hand on it, it fell off of it's hinges. Everything on the inside was destroyed, the screens and communication systems were all down. Jake spoke " This place, it needs serious repairs. I guess that's what I'll start doing." Jake looked around the room and noticed that the area he was in was the grand hall. There were many chairs broken down and torn apart. There was a pile of garbage in one area as well. Jake walked over to the pile of garbage and was going to burn it all to ashes until something moved behind him. He looked behind him and nothing was there. Noises began to get louder, almost as if something was getting closer. Out of spite he summoned his sword and tried to hit something behind him. He looked down at his sword and saw he had got something. He looked up and saw a shadowy figure. The shadowy figure smiled and his eyes turned red. The figure disappeared into thin air. Many versions of the shadow began to come out of the darkness. A voice was heard saying " We are the shadow guardians, and you are trespassing on our land!!" All the figures began to rush at Jake. Jake looked all around him, he was surrounded. He formed a dome around him of rock. The shadows began to bang on the dome with hopes to break it. Rocks began to crumble around him. Jake thought in his head " I need a plan quick! If they are darkness they must be weak to light, but I don't know how to use light." Jake thought until he remembered something " That form I used in the training area before the power battle. That produced a lot of light, I can use that and attack them, but how do I turn into that form? It's probably triggered by some sort of emotion." Jake didn't know what he could do to trigger it. He thought way back to the power battle and how he summoned that form. (small Flashback to season 1 part 5) The robot speaks "any last words weak human?" The robot puts out a hand and is ready to shoot Jake with a blast. The word weak echoes in Jake's mind. Jake speaks " I am weak now..." Jake starts to cry "Only because mom is gone, but I am not weak!" Jake gets up and the robot tries to hold Jake down but it can't. Jake puts out a hand and his eyes turn white, his hair turns red, and Jake's voice gets deeper. His hand glows white,red,brown,blue and silver. A mixture of those colors all mix together to make purple and Jake shoots a large beam at the robot disintegrating the robot and the wall behind the robot.( End of flashback) Jake exclaimed " That's it. It happened because I was called weak and I was underestimated. That's what I need to think about." Jake thought hard for a second and said " Lance, Patricia and even one of my closest friends Andrew all thought I probably wasn't strong enough to take the truth about what happened to my mom. They all didn't think I was ready! I was ready! And out of all the people on the Earth I should be the one to know, she was my mom!" On the outside the figures kept trying to break in the dome. Out of nowhere the dome exploded and all the figures were sent back. Jake came out of the dome with his hair red and his hands purple. Something was different about the form this time, he was able to control it more than last time. Something hit him in his back, he didn't feel any pain. He turned around and blasted the shadow figures that were attacking. All the trash and figures were destroyed that he blasted. Jake had a perfect idea. He put his hand on the ground and warmed up his hands. He shot a big blast which exploded the whole room ridding the room of those shadows. It also saved Jake some time to clean all the garbage. All the shadows were gone and none were in sight. Jake spoke " I should stay in this form, it helps me get rid of these monsters as well as clean." Jake walked to the next room which was the dining room. No shadow guardians were in sight. Jake sent a blast clearing the room from all of the broken items on the floor. He did this to every room until they were all clean. Jake entered a room that was full of technology, it looked like it worked! Jake ran over to it and clicked on it. A screen appeared in front of Jake. It was his mother. Samantha spoke " So, this is my first day as an elite for my colony. It's kind of stressful already and I haven't even been here for a whole day. Oh, I should probably explain what this is. So pretty much I will be documenting my days as an elite every single day on the logs. Who ever is watching this, we are both in for an adventure." For the rest of the day Jake sat on a stone that was next to a wall watching his mom's logs. Eventually he fell asleep. He woke up at night when he heard a scream from the screen, and all the logs ended. Jake woke up and looked confused. He wiped his tired eyes with his hands and rewound the log. Samantha spoke " Hey, welcome to day 3,650. Geez that's a big number(she laughed). So, today I have a public meeting with the rest of the elites! It's going to be such a wonderful day!" Out of nowhere all the other elites' voices were heard at the same time " Samantha." Samantha was about to turn around until her gem was shot with a blast. Samantha screamed. She fell on the screen and the log ended. Jake watched in horror as he saw his mother's dead face fall on the screen. He closed the logs and looked terrified. He lit a little ember of fire in his hand. He noticed, this was the room where it had happened. He looked at the wall, that's where she was sitting too, everything was just the same he had seen them. Jake laid down, he needed rest. He needed a break from everything that was going on.
