Ryder's POV🛸

"Addison finally took a step forward with Tatiana," Alana shrugs still not making eye contact.

I look down, "Tatiana? That sounds like titan. Oh no do you have a friend named Levi? Eren? Oh no Mikasa?? The world is going officially going cray cray" I say trying to lighten the mood.

I look up at Alana and shes staring at me with confused eyes "What the fuck Ryder?"

That only makes me laugh louder "Just.. Geeky..... Talk.." I said in between laughter.

"Geeky? You're a geek now?" Alana cocks an eyebrow.

I shake my head "Dude, having many brothers and sister well... You learn different shit."

"You're still mommy's bad boy?" Alana teased.

I wave her off, "Pl-ease that's Caden."

Alana looks up at me surprised "Caden?"

I nod, now he really changed in these past five years.

"Oh God!" She squealed.

"Do you still have a crush on him?"

Alana punches me on my shoulder and it brings back a flashback.

*Flashback*

The slightly older girl next door, Im not sure what is was but something about her made me crazy for her. Even if we'd been best friends since I was five and she was seven, something about her made my heart pound whenever we were together.

But for some reason she was always into the wrong brother, Caden.

I sat in the grass looking at the stars, such a beautiful night. I secretly wonder what would happen if I actually eat one.

I heard Alana's footsteps as she came down the stairs. I smirked in thought of the prank i had just pulled off.

Alana ruffled the paper and threw it at my head, the paper ball bounced on top of my head and fell on the grass.

I sat up and looked at Alana standing in the doorway, her 'perfect' make up was no longer perfect. At all. It was just messed up.

Countless tears running down her face. She tried to wipe them off with her hand but all she did was make it worse.

"Ugh! You're such an asshole Ride!" She yelled then she ran off.

I felt my heart sink, I have never seen her like this.

"Alana!" I yelled as I ran towards her house, which is right next to mine.

She was already up in her room.

Damn athletes.
