We fell for each other at the wrong time.

1.

"Bree, call me later!" Lola shouted as I swung my bag inside my daddy's Porsche.

I slide inside and hold the door looking at Lola, "Sure thing, bestie!" I give her a smile before closing the door still holding the smile as Lola waved at me with her phone in her hand. I can't believe she has a flip phone, that's so last year. I rolled my eyes in annoyance, "She should leave me the hell alone"

"You want everyone to leave you alone," Dad laughed from the drivers seat, glancing at me from the rear mirror and I roll my eyes.

"Hey," A whisper made my lips curve into an actual genuine smile just by thinking about his name, Addison.

I turn my head and looked at him, pursing my lips together trying to hide my excitement, "Hi," My words come out as a whisper dazzy. He took my hand into his and it was like I was melting into him.

Unaware of my older brother Caden sitting next to him, "Im right here guys" You can practically hear his eye roll.

In an instant I snapped out of my love cloud just to roll my eyes at my annoying brother, "Sorry Caden, youre so small that I accidentally missed you," I shrug.

Caden's face turns bright red, "Hey! Im small and adorable," he crossed his arms around his chest and lowered his head pouting.

I giggled with an eye roll, "What a mop"

"He's not a mop," Dad laughed from the drivers seat.

"Oh, hey dad I didn't notice you there," I say plainly.

"Did you happen to notice anyone in this car other than Addison? I give you a ride home, Addison, and this is how you pay me?"

My dad stopped the car in the front gate, he pushed the intercom button. "Yes, house 202. Wood's" Then he pushed our secret number.

The gate automatically opened and dad drove inside our neighborhood.

"Mom's already home?" I asked as soon as we pulled into our garage, she usually gets here at night after her day shifts and dad leaves to his night shifts.

"Yeah, we have some..." He was silent for a second, "...News"

We got out of the car and Addison quickly ran to his house after waving us goodbye.

Caden and I walked inside the house, to our surprise mom stands in front of us pacing back and forth.

This must be bad.

"Whats wrong mom?" Caden asks as he jumps on the couch.

"Nothing's wrong! We just got something to tell you guys," Dad wrapped his arms around mom, giving us a weird smile.

"That's a weird smile, dad. But the others aren't here," I say as I walked to the couch and sat besides Caden.

Both of my parents being pediatricians, love children. So they decided to have seven of them.
