Falling for U

Once we got to the apartment, Mingyu offered everyone drinks while I brought out some snacks from the cupboard. While we were preparing everything I went over to Mingyu to ask him a question, "yah, why didn't you tell me you have a boyfriend?"

"You never asked." he shrugged and continued to pour water from the tap.

"But why doesn't wonwoo just live with you?" I asked, dumping some chips into a large bowl.

"We decided it was too much commitment and that we're young and not ready." He looked over to Wonwoo, noticing the other was staring, and cutely waved. I saw the other's face flush as he quickly turned back around. I heard Gyu let out a low chuckle next to me and smiled. In that moment, I really wished I had someone.

We walked back out to the other who somehow managed to fit everyone in the small space. That is, everyone except for Mingyu and I.

Like nothing, he walked over to where wonwoo was and pulled the smaller onto his lap. I sighed. I walked over to Joshua, the only person I actually knew, and tried to squeeze between and the dinosaur kid with the duck hair. Unfortunately, it didn't really go as planned.

I ended up toppling over and landing in Joshua's lap. He let out the most adorable laugh I had ever heard in my existence and I quickly stood up, completely flustered. He patted his lap and reached for my wrist at the same time, "just sit here." I quickly shook my head, not only to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but also to reply 'no'.

He just rolled his eyes and laid his hands gently on my waist to pull me down to where he was sitting. I slowly lowered myself onto his lap, regretting all of my life choices leading up to this moment.

Once I sat down, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I could feel my face get warm and I looked down at his hands to avoid anyone seeing my face. Not that anyone was paying attention though.

I opened my laptop and played the first few demos. Everyone seemed to like it but none of them really seemed to fit everyone's style. Eventually I got to my personal favorite.

Cheol and Jihoon looked at each other knowingly, "you know who would sound really good on this track with Jeonghan?" They both looked in my direction and smiled. I gave them a confused look.

"Yeah." Jihoon replied. "Okay," the taller began, "first track on the album will be this one, and it will be a duet with Jeonghan and Joshua."

I turned around to smile at the other and he smiled back. I quickly turned around, afraid I might die of a heart attack.

We sat around for a bit longer and listened to some more tracks, not only mine but also some created by the others. Once we agreed on a track list they all began to file out of my *cough* I mean our small apartment. As Joshua put on his shoes and began to walk out the door, I reached for his arm, but under calculated and  grabbed his hand.

"Um, can you stay to finish the song with me? It's fine if you don't want to, but I just thought since it's a duet you might want to have some say in what you're singing or whatever..." I trailed off at the end, realizing I had been rambling on. He chuckled and slid his shoes back off, "Sure."
