kim taehyung
the car that pulled up behind the truck was less than impressive, a simple black jeep wrangler, although the family that appeared was the opposite. such a weird style for this part of seoul, the woman was wearing a long denim overall dress with a white long sleeve top underneath. her hair was pulled back, a fringe framing her glasses that sat neatly on her nose. the man was tall, his hair made it look like he stepped out of the 80's, longer than most and pulled back into a little ponytail. he wore a simple hoodie and shorts, very casual for a man who looked older than 35. they spoke softly with the moving guy, obviously too far away for taehyung to hear. but he did hear the call that erupted from the woman at her car, which confused taehyung- no one else was in the car, right?
but, he was wrong, as a little bit of movement was shown through the tinted windows. the woman walked over to most likely help, making taehyung think it was just a little kid.
he was entirely incorrect, as he watched the lady throw yoongi's cigarette bud away with a grimace, only to smile at the figure before her. it was a boy, a small boy. he looked so young, but so knowledgeable- his glasses were the same as his mum's, round with a thin frame. and, he was absolutely mesmerizing.
"taehyung, do you want to finish off these chips?" namjoon exclaims lazily, sliding down the old couch thingo. "no, you probably did a fat nut in those." he teases, attention brought away from the cute boy. "that's so fucking gross kim taehyung oh my god," jimin whines covering his soft face, moving to lay down across namjoon's lap. "wow, i was just being nice and you accuse me of busting a nut in a packet of salt and vinegar chips. that's harsh man." namjoon sighs, hand entering the plastic bag to grab some of the chips.
yoongi was fast asleep, snoring quite loudly with chips still in his mouth. namjoon was pegging crumbs at the elder, jimin giggling everytime it lands on his closed eyelid. a loud cough broke them out of their fanatics, although, it wasn't quite loud enough to wake up the mint haired boy.
jimin squeaked and hid on namjoon who gave a little wave to the person. taehyung, though, was too concentrated on the crumb slowly making its way into yoongi's nostril with every breath he took. "taehyung don't be rude, dude, someone is here." namjoon mutters, throwing a chip at him too. taehyung looks behind him, almost doing a double take because wow, does he look familiar.
"hello kids, sorry to interrupt... whatever... it was you were doing," his sharp eyes flicker to yoongi, "my family and i just moved in across the road and noticed some cigarette butts around, my son saw you guys and assumed it could've been someone here or someone you know. we aren't looking for trouble, just for a clean lawn and path." his voice was deep and soft, there was a hint of authority to it which was annoyingly recognizable. namjoon speaks next, "sorry, sir, that would've been our mint haired friend here. we'll be more careful from now on." a smile graces the man's lips, his top lip disappearing as he does so. huh.
"my name is jeon jinsoo, just in case you were wondering. if you live close by, don't be afraid to come around and say hi if you need anything." he nods his head slightly, not waiting for an answer before he walks away.
"he's... fairly good looking for a dad." namjoon speaks up suddenly, earning a whack from jimin. "what? his hair is nice." namjoon whines defensively. "oh shut up. my hair is nice too." jimin mumbles in annoyance.
"yeah, he's also the dad of someone i used to be close with, i just can't remember his name."
