Caitlin and barry sat at amunets bar drinking when they saw central city news about a serial rapist in the city.
"That's scary barry. "Yeah it is cait so maybe I should take u home this guy could be anywhere you'll be safer with me. "Naw ill be fine barry I'm a big girl but thanks. She left the bar and barry sat thinking. Amunet came out and handed him a beer. "Ahhh what's the matta speedy are u worried about caity? "How did u know he said sipping the beer. "I'm not dumb barry I see how you look at her it's a look of love don't worry she loves u back.
"How do u know? "Because she told me barry if ur worried I think u should trust ur instincts your a wise man barry who else could escape irn heights with no powers.

Caitlin fumbled with her keys but dropped them shed picked them up and unlocked the door when suddenly she was grabbed from behind a hand clamped over her mouth and she was dragged inside she was held against a wall the man was in her face choking her then she was thrown on her back a young brown haired man was on top of her. He held her down and unbuckled his pants he hiked her dress up ripped her panties off. She thrashed around and managed to knock him off she kicked him with her heels in the face and tried to run but he grabbed her leg she screamed Loudly and scracched his face he punched her face and she fell on her back he got on top of her and hiked her dress up and pulled himself out of his pants and shoved himself painfully into her she screamed again she cried and kept fighting him he stopped and was ripped off of her.
There was barry holding him against the door chocking him. Barry's eyes were glowing red and he was beyond pissed.
"I hate people like u your sick I'm going to end you and I am not going to lose any sleep tonight! He squezed his windpipe it started to make a cracking sound. "Barry don't do it Your not a killer she said in a weak voice. His face calmed down he shoved the guy into the door and knocked him out he handcuffed him and sped him to cops and went back to caitlin he picked her up and carried her to his place he layed her on his bed and gave her painkiller water a blanket and he sat next to her. "Cait I'm so sorry I should of showed up faster if I'd of got there sooner this would of never happened.
"Its not your fault barry I shoulda let u take me home. She sat up buried her face in her hands and cried.
Barry got next to her and pulled her into his lap and he held her she finally relaxed and fell asleep he gently layed her down and covered her he was going to get up but she whispered his name and hugged him in her sleep so he stayed she woke up in the middle of the night screaming. "No no no please stop noooo! Barry pulled her close and held her comforting her saying sweet soothing words to her and she fell back asleep. She relaxed and slept peacefully in his arms.
The next morning barry woke up he could smell something delicious. He got up shirtless and went to go see what it was he saw Caitlin making pancakes she turned and saw him shirtless. "Hey barry good morning she said trying not to stare but she couldn't help it this was barry her barry the sweet man who was there for her all last night. She bit her lip as her eyes roamed over him. He saw that she was checking him out and blushed. He stood in front of her.
"I made you some coffee and pancakes as a thank you for being there for me all night. "It was no problem cait I'll always be here for you. Their faces were close barry stared at her lips he really wanted to kiss her his eyes glowed rays of sunshine came in through the blinds shining in her hair making it look golden. He closed the space and cupped her face and kissed her softly.
She felt a spark on her lips.
He pulled away and smiled then pecked her lips again. "Do u want to go to work today if not I'll cover for you. "I think I'll just stay here if that's okay. "Yes of course it is u can stay as long as you want. "Thanks barry you should eat I already did. He nodded and ate and sipped coffee. He cleaned everything up fast. Then got dressed fast and headed to work. Ralph and Cisco were in talking iris and Joe weren't there. "Guys we need to talk it's about cait. "Why is she ok did something happen asked Ralph.
"No she's um sick very hung over she stayed at my place I didn't want her driving drunk. "Yeah better safe than sorry said Ralph. "Yeah said Cisco. Nothing happened all day not a single crime so barry went home again he could smell something cooking it made his stomach growl. He walked in looking for her he heard water running in the bathroom it shut off and out walked a very naked Caitlin. Barry got an eyeful. "Ahhh ohhh god barry oh my god ur early. She quickly covered herself with a towel. He blushed and looked away. "Its ok barry I'm covered u can look now.
He turned and saw she had a towel on. "Ccait I'm so sorry I shoulda knocked or announced I was here. "Its ok barr if it had been any other guy he'd be crying on the ground cause I'd of punched him but since it's u it's ok besides I figure u barely saw anything anyway right? "No I really didn't. Ok what's up what happened that ur home so early? No criminal activity at all. "That's a good thing right? "Yeah it's kinda nice I brought u some clothes from your apartment.
He held out the bag she smiled and took it. He went in the other room she put her bra and underwear on and he came back. He blushed again she giggled and was trying to put on a colorful dress but couldn't. "Barry can u um? Yeah just a sec. He sped around her and she was dressed she smiled.
"Time for dinner. He took off his coat and put it on the couch. He walked into the kitchen she was making him a plate of spaghetti. "What did u tell the team? "I told them u were badly sick from a hangover. "Oh ok that works ill tell them what happened after I cope with it and I'm ready.
"I understand cait and I'm here for u.
She grabbed him in a huge hug he hugged her back. He pulled back slowly and his eyes met hers he stared at her lips. "Its getting late we should go to bed I mean sleep we should go to sleep. He nodded and sped around the kitchen he had it clean in seconds. She borrwed one of Barry's shirts he walked in and saw her in his t shirt it was slightly hiked up and her long legs poked out of it. He tried very hard not to stare but failed he also saw she had no make up. She was laying down listening to music on her phone. "I'm going to take the couch said barry. "No don't go stay with me please. He nodded and turned off the light.
"Cait are u really ok? "I'm ok when ur next to me because I feel safe with u. He faced her. "Cait you'll always be safe with me. She smiled and faced him too he grabbed her hand in his and they fell asleep talking with their hands intwined.
