This is a short little chapter for you guys, im having a bit of writers block and so i threw this update out for you. it was obviously supposed to be longer but you know, writers block :) thank you so much to all my readers so far, i hope you are enjoying yourselves

Camp that night was torture for Jon and Julia. After using almost all of the medical supplies to bandage their injuries, they had to content themselves with a cold meal of artificial meat. Unable to have a fire for fear of drawing attention, they pitched their tent and sat inside wrapped in emergency blankets.

Jon had to get her to help him take his helmet off, his broken arm hindering his movements. Short, military cut brown hair had always annoyed him. He wished he could choose his own style, but regulations restricted that. His blue eyes used to be his favorite feature of himself, that is, before he earned himself a long scar over his left eyelid; a training accident from a combat knife.

He felt ashamed of himself, looking at Julia, he couldnt remember ever meeting such a beautiful woman. She had long flowing brown hair, hazel eyes, her aqauline features drew his attention. He knew he should not think thoughts like he was, especially in there position.

"Sir, the radio isnt working." She stated, handing him the equipment.

After a few moments he noticed it refused to connect to any of the fleets channels, something he had never heard of happening before. "Its alright, im sure we will be rescued by morning." He tried to reassure her, but he knew something was wrong.

She had been transfered to his sqaud almost moments after recieving the destress call. Now, there radios wernt working, and he hadnt told her yet, but the locator beacon's light started to flash. This only ever happened if the beacon's signal wasnt being recieved. Things just wernt adding up.

"Why did you put in for a transfer to my sqaud?" He asked, hoping to piece things together.

"I didnt, order came down from the admiral, sir." Her answer confirmed his suspisions, but also raised a qeustion.

"You can quit the formality's, i never was much for regulation. Call me Jon. But i must ask, why would you be transfered to my sqaud as we were heading out?"

"Alright, Jon then. I was just curious, about earth...I...i'm sorry.." they both knew that this was no accident, they were sent to their deaths. She had given herself access to something she was not suppose to have seen.

"So, you are the reason for the death's of all my men. Men that i had promised to, that i would bring them home." It wasnt a question, he was pissed. Yet somewhere inside, he was curious what she had found. What was so secretive that they were sent to die.

"Jon, listen to me, you dont understand, we've been lied to for our whole lives, Earth, it was never..." He silenced her with a wave of his hand. He did not want an excuse, not at the moment.

"I need to get some sleep. I suggest you do as well. Tommorrow we need to find the colony." At that, Jon rolled onto his side, he didnt want to know what she had to say for herself.

"Okay." Julia knew she made a terrible mistake, but the information she had found was altogether terrifying. They were not brought to this new planet to rebuild humanity, humanity was thriving light years away. The millions of souls in orbit around Terra thirteen had been brough to die. She hadnt managed to finish reading the files, she wished she had, as then she would know why.

"Julia, what did you find?" Jon asked her, he could be mad all he wanted, but he knew he needed the truth.

"I didnt get to read everything, Jon. I did find out however, that we are meant to die here. This planet is being turned into a prison, of sorts. I do not know why, i didnt get that far, all i know is that every single person up there, is never going home. The admirals are under strict orders to make sure we are kept here, these orders are from Earth, Jon."

"You dont know any more than that? I am sorry but that isnt very much to go on Julia." Jon knew that if those files did indeed contain orders like this, something had to be done. "I need to get to the Hellrazor, I need to see those files."

"Jon, i dont know how you expect us to get off planet." Julia knew it wouldnt happen, they were effectively trapped.

"Lets focus on getting to the colony alive for now." With that Jon rolled over and shut his eyes, drifting into sleep he so desperatly needed.
