My apologies to all of my readers for not being very active. I have had some serious writers block, and been busy with a new job, etc. I thank you all for your continued support and I am very happy to announce that I am continuing this story!!!

Bright sunlight streaming down through the canopy of trees cast a strange pattern across Jon and Julia as they slept. Jon grogily woke from his light sleep, pain wracking his body from his wounds.

The new day brought no relief, Jon knew full well that if he and Julia did not find medical help soon they could be in alot of trouble; infection would set in, internal bleeding a scary reality.

"Julia, wake up." Jon murmerd, knowing he wouldnt need to do much to wake her up. She couldnt have slept well either, it is very hard to sleep with the wounds both had endured.

"I'm up, I'm up." She wiped the sleep from her eyes, and started gathering her equipment up, as Jon began packing up thier meagre camp site. "Jon, its so quiet."

Jon continued packing up, he had already noticed the strange silence. when they first had started moving through the woods, strange chirps and squeels lit the air, since last night, their hadnt been a sound. "I know, thats because we are being watched, whatever, or whoever it is however, doesnt know that we know they are there. This will give us some sort of surprise advantage, we will need it."

Julia looked at him, nodded her agreement, then finished packing her gear before they stepped into the morning sunlight.

                                                                -------------------------------------

They had waited, watched, grown impatient, and waited more. Watching their home be torn to the ground, trees uprooted, and strange constructs raised up in their place.

Saliin had been sitting enjoying the warm sun, when she heard the rumble. After investigating, she saw the strange...thing rolling towards the sacred river, the river that flowed from the heart of the Ealyn mountain. This was a travesty, this could not be allowed.

Saliin loosed and arrow at the strange creature inside the machine, it pierced this creature through the heart. She watched as it crashed into the river, water spraying everywhere, before it began to tumble down the rapids. She was filled with rage, now, she had been returning to her village when she saw the two other creatures. They were wounded, easy targets, and she began stalking them. This day, blood would be spilled.
