It's been four days since Ahn Mari started practicing together with NCT's Jisung for their Special Stage for Mnet Countdown. The two Idols came to the conclusion to do a dance cover to Ariana Grande's Into You. They already covered the song on the first two days of Mari coming to SM Entertainment after her schedules.

And today was the day the two of them would create a choreography to the rather sexy song.

SM had invited a dance teacher from Ireland who was trying to get Jisung to touch Mari. But the sixteen-year-old boy freaked out and now he was sitting on the window sill trying to avoid the look on Mari's face.

"Jisung-ah, it's only my waist." The Canadian lass said and tilted her head. "But isn't it too close. Like my body touches yours and-" Jisung couldn't finish his sentence and Mari chuckled. "It's alright. You normally have to touch your partner when you dance. Even in classic dances like the Waltz or Tango." Mari sighed and turned to the mirror.

"Look, it doesn't have the same effect if I do it by myself," Mari explained and did the dance steps, that were torturing Jisung, by herself. Jisung had to admit that the dance moves didn't look as good if Mari did them by herself. With a sigh, he jumped off the window sill and walked behind Mari, slowly wrapping his arm around her waist and resting it on her stomach.

"Fantastic, Jisung!" Their Irish dance teacher, Tadgh, called and clapped into his hands, before counting so the two dancers could do the moves. Jisung was still sloppy at points where he had to touch Mari, but he slowly got the hang of it and three hours later, Jisung wasn't shy anymore and touched Mari without freaking out.

"Time for a break!" Tadgh smiled. "I'll be grabbing something to eat, any wishes?" He asked the two Idols in his thick Irish accent and Jisung nodded and ordered Sweet-And-Sour-Pork. "I just want some Jjangmyeon," Mari said and laid down on the floor.

Jisung watched her. "Is it hard?" He asked and Mari cocked an eyebrow. "The dance?" Jisung nodded. "No, it's actually pretty fun. I never had a collaboration stage and I want to see what the tabloids say later on. They probably all think I ruined you." Mari laughed and sat up.

Ever since she started practicing together with Jisung, she had learned so much about him. She learned that he was a big fan of her like she was of NCT. And he even showed her his dance cover to <X>. Jisung was cute. Mari liked him. But it's been days and she never even saw a glimpse of Mark Lee.

She didn't want to ask Jisung, as that seemed unfriendly, but she really wanted to see Mark. It's been years since she last saw him. She sighed and stood up.

"What's your favorite song, Mari-noona?" Jisung asked while he watched Mari dance through the room. "Hm, I really love Linkin Park's <Numb>. Did a modern dance choreography to it in one of my evaluations at Blue Soda." Mari spoke and Jisung widened his eyes.

"You can do Modern Dance?" - "Yes. Learned it from my Company. Want me to show you?" - "Yes please!" Jisung shuffled over to the television and searched the song. "Is it the OG version?" He asked and Mari nodded, getting into her position. She hasn't danced to this song since her two months evaluation at Blue Soda Entertainment.

But Jisung seemed so excited so she decided to show him.

Jisung sat down on the floor when the first parts of the song started and Mari started rolling through the floor. She looked beautiful dancing, her face calm and her moves powerful. Jisung was shocked when Mari simply rolled into a split.

In the corner of his eye Jisung could see the door open. "Huh, Tadgh was fast!" He said when a head popped up and it wasn't their cynical Irish dance teacher but NCT Dream's leader Mark Lee.

Mark heard the song from the hallway. And since he knew that this was usually Jisung's practice room he got curious and peeked into the room. To his surprise, it wasn't Jisung dancing to the famous Linkin Park song but a girl. The girl had loose basketball shorts and a wide AC/DC shirt one, modern dancing to the song.

Jisung saw Mark and waved at him happily. Mark took this as an invitation and entered the room, leaning next to the door, watching the stranger finishing her dance. Once the song stopped Jisung jumped up and applauded and even Mark applauded. The dance seemed hard but the girl had slayed it.

The second pair of applause confused Mari and she turned to the door. Seeing Mark Lee standing there made her stop in her tracks and she couldn't even say something. She heard Jisung introduce her to his leader. "Isn't she fantastic?" Jisung smiled and Mari felt her eyes fill with tears.

She didn't want to cry and turned around wiping them quickly before she faced Mark as well.

She bowed, getting ready to greet him. "Don't forget your Tuque! Ahn Mari, hello." She greeted Mark politely and the boy looked up. "Tuque? I haven't heard that word in ages. Are you from Canada?" Mari froze. He didn't recognize her.

"Yes." She bowed, "Vancouver." - "No way! I'm from Vancouver as well! The world is really small." He smiled and walked up to her to shake her hand. "I didn't know you were Canadian. When I read your articles on Naver they never dropped any pieces of information of that kind. And our super fan Jisung never said anything either."

"Maybe it's because I debuted under my Korean name. And not my birth name." Mari explained hoping Mark would ask. "Yeah? Is your birthname different?" - "Only a bit. My name is Mary Ahn." She said, now in English and bit her lip.

He should recognize her voice, right?
