"I think you need to explain this", Jaehyun said and turned Marks phone around. The look on the older males face was unreadable and Mark gulped, seeing his home screen. "Hyung, this is not what it looks like!" Mark said and Jaehyun cocked an eyebrow. "How does it look like then?" The vocal asked and Mark was at a loss for words. He looked at his phone in Jaehyun's hands. "Could you just turn it off please?" The rapper asked and Jaehyun cocked an eyebrow.
"Jisung could explain this picture better than you, I guess." Jaehyun whistled seeing the distress in the younger face. "Just tell me!" He said and Mark sighed. The picture Jaehyun was so interestedly looking at was a Selca he did once he visited Mari at home.
She had one of her Sailor Moon wands in her hands and he back hugged her and pressed his lips on her cheek. Her face was full of love and she giggled because of Marks silliness. It was his favourite picture of them together so he had decided to set it as his home screen.
"Hyung, this is me and—" - "Ahn Mari, I can see that," Jaehyun said and looked at Mark. He could sense how unhappy Mark was with this conversation. "We're in a relationship," Mark confessed and Jaehyun opened his mouth. "H-How?"
"We've known each other since we were children. Our Mothers were friends so we kind of grew up together. We were classmates. And then I left for Seoul and kinda forgot about her and my other friends. I never knew she would try and pursue a career in Korea as well, so when I saw her again I was shocked and acted a little bit stupid ... but we are each other first loves so we reconciled and kinda end up together." Mark splurged out and Jaehyun opened his eyes.
"I never knew..." - "Because Mari and I kept it a secret. I don't know how the company would react if I told them about me and her... And I don't know how her company would react. She's still a Rookie. I don't want to ruin her career. She has SO much potential, Hyung."
Jaehyun looked at Mark. "That's impressive Mark Lee." The older said and Mark blushed slightly. "You matured a lot these past years. I wish both of you a lot of luck in your relationship." Jaehyun quickly hugged Mark and ruffled his hair. "Little Casanova!" Jaehyun smiled and Mark laughed.
He was glad someone finally knew of his relationship.

"Thank you for your hard work today!" Staff from Basket Case told Mari as she left the office of the foundation. "I'm glad I could help once again. Thank you for offering me this fantastic chance!" She smiled. "The kids and teenagers really need to hear this, since the mock exam period is coming up." Mari smiled, bowed and shouldered her bag before walking down the stairs to her manager, who was already waiting by the car.
"How was today?" Sora asked when she climbed into the van after Mari. The younger female smiled and put on her seatbelt. "Today was a little bit hectic since the kids started crying during the second half of my speech. A lot of them handed me letters after my speech, telling me all of their struggles. And a boy even told me he had thoughts of suicide." Mari sighed when she remembered the pale boy with the dark rings under his eyes. "He had fumbled with his uniform a lot so I handed him the card with the crisis number." Mari took a breath.
"This job is getting to you, right?" Sora asked and Mari nodded. "It's not easy. But I was aware of that when I signed the contract." Mari pushed her hair behind her ear. "One week left and then you have some time off. Are you excited about visiting Canada again?" Kim Sora asked and Mari nodded.
"I haven't seen my parents for such a long time! I'm ready for a vacation!" She giggled and pulled out her phone, seeing that she had a new text message from Mark. She quickly unlocked her phone while Sora was looking out of the window. She read the message and her smile fell from her face.
Mark: Hey Gorgeous... I kinda told Jaehuyn-hyung about our relationship... I'm sorry that I didn't talk to you beforehand but I was in a flight-or-die situation... Can I visit you tonight so we can talk about it? Love you lots, Mark
Mari pressed her lips together so she wouldn't sigh out loud. She should've been aware of the fact, that Mark couldn't keep secrets very well. She chuckled and shook her head, before answering with a quick 'Yes'. She didn't forget to add her typical yellow heart before shoving the phone back into her bag.
Their relationship had been very easygoing. They didn't stress themselves with anything. Especially not with their companies. But now that Mark told one of his members, they had to think about how they would continue this. Would they tell their companies? Would they continue to keep it secret?
Mari looked out of the window. She did want to tell her friends about her happiness as well. But Changbin and Chaeyoung were very busy with their own careers so she didn't want to bother them. She bit her lip. Her friends in Canada weren't really up to date with her, so she only had her parents to gush to.
But she had to tell Mark first and ask him if he would be okay with her telling her parents.
And maybe they could find a way to tell SM and Blue Soda Entertainment about their relationship before it gets too wild and out of control. She really wanted to show off that she had a boyfriend and wanted to share with the world, that Mark Lee is the man she loved. But that was harder than expected.
