The Beginning Of The End

The end of the world

                        Kion's POV
"It's been a month ago since the virus spread. The Pridelands has fallen and the only animals that lives there now is the "Wilders". The Wilders are those animals who has virus. The only way to stop these things is to cut through their brain and they will stay dead. If you do it anywhere else than the brain you will have a painful death.....

I'm one of the last survivors left in this world. My family didn't make it. I'm the only one who made it out alive. Beshte didn't make it either, we had to leave him behind. It was only me, Fuli, Ono and Bunga left. Until a few weeks ago where he got bit. He didn't make it and we had to kill him. And a few days ago Fuli, Bunga and I got separated from each other and now I don't know where they could be. I try and look for them every day but doesn't find them, but I don't give up. Let me tell you about how this all started a month ago.

                    One month ago
"Come on guys this antelope needs our help!" Yelled Kion to the lion guard while they followed their leader. When they arrived at the scene they all turned silent. Something was odd about the antelope. It didn't speak to Kion or the others. It stood still like it was in shock."Are you okay?" The leader asked cautious and walked closer to the antelope. The antelope still didn't answer, it only looked at Kion. When Kion got close enough to see its eyes he got frightened. He could see it stared at him with no movements. "Hey are you alright?" Kion asked again. He waited for the antelope to respond. But it didn't, it began to walk towards Kion slowly which made him a little scared of the situation. The antelope was only focusing on Kion. Kion walked backwards and stumbled over a tree branch and laid on his back. The antelope got closer, and when it was close enough it fell to the ground and tried to bite Kion. Luckily Kion had the strength to hold of the antelope, but not for long. "Guys a little help? I don't think I can hold him of much longer!" He yelled while he dodged the antelopes teeth. Fuli knew what to do and pounced on the antelope. She landed on the side of it and was aiming for the throat. She launched herself towards the throat and began to choke it. It ran out of air and died, that was what the guard thought. "That was really odd" Fuli said and looked at Kion. She walked over to him and helped him up. "You okay?" She asked him while she gave him a paw. "Yeah I'm fine. There was something weird about that antelope tho" He tried to think why the antelope had that kind of behavior. "Yeah it was really odd" Fuli tried as well to think why the antelope had that kind of behavior. Both felines got disturbed by Ono who suddenly squawked something about it was still alive, but that would be impossible right? "But didn't Fuli kill it?" Kion asked confused. "Apparently not! Look!" Ono pointed at the antelope and it was moving. It suddenly was standing up again and it snapped after Ono. He barely flew away but he got away without getting bit."How is that possible!?"The cheetah yelled scared and confused at the same time. "I don't

know but that's not the same antelope anymore! We have to kill it!" But where? "Go for the brain Fuli!" He instructed and she did what he said. She had her claws unsheathed at cut where the brain was. It fell to the ground again and waited the same amount of time before they checked on it again to see if it really was dead this time. It didn't move so it was dead. "Did the antelope just awake from the dead!?" Bunga said freaking out."Looks like it" Kion said trying to find out how that was possible but got disturbed for Fuli."How is that possible?" "I don't know. Let's ask Rafiki" Kion said while walking towards the tree. When they arrived at the tree it was silent. "Rafiki you in here?" Kion asked slowly. He didn't get an answer imeadiatley, but after some time Rafiki answered. "Kion good you came. And you to Fuli, Behste, Ono and Bunga" "What is going on Rafiki?" Kion aksed curious. "Come in and I'll tell you" he walked into the tree and the guard followed right after. "Have you encountered an animal who is acting strange?" The mandrill asked cautious. "Acually yeah we have. Five minutes ago" "Did it try to bite you?" He said worried. "Yes it did" "This is bad" the mandrill walked around while he kept touching his beard. "Kion there is a virus in this land. A very deadly one. When you die you will turned into on of these animals you saw." Everyone went silent. "So we can't do something about it?" "I'm afraid not" "Wait how is my mom and dad?" "I don't know. Let me check" he looks out and sees that Pride Rock is surrounded by these animals. "Kion you must go now! They are in trouble!" The mandrill shouted worried. "Okay. To the Pridelands ends!" "Lion Guard Defend!" They yelled and ran towards Pride Rock. They encountered a lot of animals which had the virus and picked up the speed. They arrived at Pride Rock and Kion walked into the den slowly fining his parents laying on the ground not moveing. "Mom, dad!" He ran towards them and had tears in his eyes. When he was nuzzling distance away he saw they was still alive. "Kion....." said the King exhausted. "Dad are you okay?!" He said worried. "I don't know your mother and I got bit by those things" "No please don't say it's true!" He began to cry and his ears was folded backwards. "I'm afraid we won't make it" Kion sat down and listened to his dad. "Promise me to stay strong son" He gave his son a weak smile. "I will. I promise" he cried. Suddenly his mom spoke to him. "Kion is it you?" "Yes mom it's me" he wiped his tears away. "Oh Kion we are so sorry" she began to cry too. Kion walked towards her giving her a big hug and nuzzle. "I will miss you" He said in a crying voice. "We will also miss you" Nala said in a crying voice as well. "Kion you must go now before it's to late" his father said. Kion nuzzled him and ran away from them with tears in his eyes.
