A little party never killed nobody~

Magnus workday had ended, so he could be found in his small apartment in northern Brooklyn. It was located in an old but charming neighbourhood not too far away from a beautiful park. A party-animal like Magnus might've not been expected to live in such a calm area, but he was the exception.

Even though he was tired after many hours of dancing and teaching kids, he didn't say no to Ragnar's request to go clubbing. Magnus rubbed his forehead in annoyance, he needed to start to learn how to say no. After last night he should've at least considered saying no, but he'd do anything for Ragnar. And 30 minutes before the time they had decided to meet Magnus decided it was too late to back out.

With sore muscles and a few headache pills in his mouth Magnus got ready. He dressed up in loose, but not lazy, black pants and a flowery red top that brought out his narrow, angled brown eyes. His bathroom might've looked like a mess, but to him everything made sense. His makeup was divided into " daywear ", show and club. He drew glittery eyeliner across his lids, making them pop, and drew his lips with a natural earthy colour.

After a lazy "getting ready" session Magnus dragged his ass to the street in uncomfortable, but undeniably trendy, shoes and a red leather jacket. Magnus thought about all the Netflix series he could've binge-watched instead of going to this party.

The peaceful walk through the park towards Pandemonium got Magnus's thoughts wondering. They seemed to always drift towards himself, of course not because he was selfish. Quite the opposite, he really just liked to be real with himself and think about how he wanted to present himself. People who barely knew him would probably describe him as party-crazy, flirty and energetic. He was a social butterfly, no doubt, but that was only the surface of the sea. Magnus always had a hard time saying no, deciding and expressing himself. He danced for hours, making sexy and elegant choreographies that left people with their jaws on the ground. But had someone ever actually asked if that was what he wanted to express? The better side of him?

Apparently Magnus was also very good at daydreaming, because suddenly he was outside the doors of the club. Two large wooden doors decorated with party lights and glass shaking from the volume of the music inside. Magnus could see Ragnar just inside the doors of Pandemonium, smoking something greenish and dancing off beat ( if you could call Ragnar's body movements dancing ). When he noticed Magnus his face stretched into a smile and waved to the bodyguard to me Magnus pass the freakishly long line of people.

This was going to be one hell of a night, Magnus thought. But before he could join Ragnar he heard a familiar voice whisper behind him, and it felt like ice ran down his back.

- Magnus.

In his dream Alec was dancing on a stage. He recognised it immediately, it was the opera stage where his parents had taken him to ballet shows when he was younger. They hadn't been very interested, but the paparazzi needed to know how cultured they were. Alec had always watched in awe as the dancers almost flew around the stage, their bodies bending and stretching to the music. The difficult jumps and lifts looked as if the dancers did nothing else, easy and flowing. The way they could tell a story with no words, sing a song with no voice.

But in his dream Alec was dancing on stage. He had never been a very good ballet dancer, but in his dream he was the best. Choreo after choreo he danced like there was no tomorrow, but when the last song started playing the smiling crow turned into two people, Maryse and Robert. They were screaming at him, crying for him get off the stage, but he couldn't. Alec had no control of his body, his feet stuck to the stage and arms dancing around himself.

The music got louder, suddenly many songs played at the same time. He tried to dance to all the songs, feeling and expressing different things at the same time. But his parent's screaming got louder and the sound was terrifying. He could feel himself shake and shiver and when he thought his ears would shatter, he woke up.

- Alec? ALEC?

He heard Izzy's voice from outside the door, but for a moment she sounded too much like Maryse for Alec's liking. He sat up on the bed, rubbing his eyes and quietly regretting his life choices. She sounded annoyed, and annoying Izzy was never a good idea.

- Yeah? Alec's voice was thick of sleep and he yelled the answer out, not really knowing which wall the door was placed on.

- Party starts at Pandemonium in 30, be ready or be ready to dieee~

Izzy sang with a serious and he could hear her heels against the wood floor. It was definitely a threat, and most definitely a promise. Alec's whole body felt numb but he got dressed anyway, black ripped jeans and black t-shirt to express his mood. He ran a brush through his hair and was on his way two minutes later.

Outside Pandemonium was what seemed like a mile long line but Alec decided not to think about it too much, so he just stood in the line like the moral man he was.

A silhouette suddenly walked past Alec and he caught a whiff of camomile scent. The man just skipped the line and looked after something inside the club, he seemed to find what he was looking because he smiled half-heartedly.

Alec realised who it was, and his resting bitch-face shone up in a shining smile as his dance teacher walked towards the doors of Pandemonium. He was about to call out Magnus's name when a woman appeared on the opposite side of the line, left of Magnus and bent to whisper something in his ear.

Magnus visibly shook with surprise at the voice of the woman. She had jet black hair, red lips and pale skin. With her dark eyes she quickly scanned Magnus and gave him a smile, laughing harshly, not a hint of happiness. Alec already decided he didn't like this woman.

Magnus looked away when the woman continued talking, his entire face was scrunched up as if something smelled badly. She didn't look at all stupid, more like terrifyingly intelligent, but either didn't notice how badly Magnus wanted to escape or just didn't care. Alec guessed on the second as she continued. She didn't look particularly happy about talking to Magnus, but the face he was making kept her mouth moving.

When Magnus didn't answer the woman sighed and patted him on the shoulder with her long, black nails and squeezed a bit too hard than necessary. After she entered the club Magnus stood still almost half a minute just breathing outside, but when he made a step towards the club a rush of adrenaline went through Alec. He rarely yelled or raised his voice, but he felt like he needed to this time.

- Magnus!
