I couldn't help but take a deep breath as the scent of the ocean filled my lungs

I couldn't help but take a deep breath as the scent of the ocean filled my lungs. It kissed my cheeks with little small droplets as the yacht quickly made it to the shore. I felt intrigued now that I was into a whole new life and a whole new experience. I didn't care where I went or what I did, the only thing on my mind was to explore the island. I had a friend named Izzy who lived in Bali, and she offered to help me get started at work and living.

"Hey!" I smiled to hug her.

"Luna you made it!" She squealed. "What do you think of Bali so far?!"

"It's amazing! I don't even know what to tell you."

"Wait till you see the beach. That's where you'll be working."

"No way?!"

"Yes! Come on!" She giggled as she took my hand. After we made it to the beach, the shore hypnotized me in place. The bluest shade of water glittering from the sun's kiss and the familiar scent of it kept me relaxed down my spine. The people were all full of happy vibes and the cafes near the beaches were full of cocktails and seafood, and that's where I worked, a bartender.  My shift was facing the beach, so I had the same iconic view at all times. "Where you going?!" She laughed as I quickly went towards the hut.

"Work?"

"Luna you don't start work till tomorrow." She laughed.

"Oh?"

"Come on I wanna show you around." She took my hand again. She showed me all the restaurants and activities we could do in the water, then showed me all her friends and their yachts. Their lives were so simple yet so exotic. The only thing missing was the forest and waterfalls inside the island. The only thing I've heard from them was that they were worth hiking. As we were walking on the dock, a loud roar of a laugh caught my attention, diverting my eyes to witness some guy driving his own yacht.

"Whose that?" I took a good look at him. I couldn't fully see his face, but he seemed like a fun guy to be around.

"That's Zac." She smiled. "Hey fish boy!"

"Fish boy?! I'm the king of the ocean baby!" He got closer to the dock so he could park, that's when I fully saw his face and reciprocated stares.

"You got any fish for us today?" Izzy crossed her arms.

"Nah, I was just strolling around to clear my mind." The closer he got the more attractive this man was, the crush was tough. Izzy quickly went to help him park and placed a hook on his yacht, avoiding it from going anywhere.

"You still owe me a salmon fish boy." Izzy pointed a finger at him.

"You will never stop saying fish boy will you?" Zac chuckled as he walked towards the edge of the yacht.

"Zac this my very dear friend Luna, Luna this is Zac."

"Hello." I smiled and put my hand out for him to shake.

"Hey." His rather supple hands collided with mine, instant connection. "How come I've never seen you around here?"

"I just moved here today." I chuckled.

"Oh shit really?! Welcome to Bali!" He put his arms in the air. "If you ever need a ride around the island I'm your man."

"Thanks for the offer, will definitely remember that." I giggled at his cuteness, it was the smile that kept me hooked.

"You should come to the party tonight." He opened his eyes wide.

"Oh my god yes! Luna I know you might be jet lagged, but please come to the beach party tonight! You have to!"

"Okay, I'll be there." I already started playing scenes in my head of how the night was going to start, with Zac. That's what crushes did to me, hopeless romantic even when I just met the guy, but I tried to focus on more important things, like my new life.
