Chapter 9

(Cailin's POV)

"I saw Justin today at the store, he recognized me and he gave me his number" I looked away from Jason squeezing my eyes closed waiting for him to completely rage but he didn't. I had to take a peak to see him with a sympathetic and broken look. "Aren't you mad?" I opened my eyes fully in shock. " I mean I'm disappointed that he found out about you but I have to take in consideration that someday he was going to stumble upon you Cailin and that someday is today" I couldn't believe he still was't freaking out its was scary. " I mean I would like to know how you feel about this whole thing baby girl?" I looked down at my lap "Well I do care for Justin and all that stuff but I'd rather be friends with him" " Look at me" Jason said sweetly lifting my chin up "I want you to be happy and if it means having a friendship with Mr. Butthead over there then fine so be it but Cailin if he hurts you or trys to pull some funny stuff on you he will be dead".

I laughed because I was waiting for this side of Jason to come out. "Thanks baby" I smiled at him as tears still poured down my face. "Come hear" Jason said still holding my hand as I went around to give him a hug. He placed me on his lap. "Stop crying babe" he chuckled and so did I. I was happy that Jason was becoming soft again like he used to be when I first met him in highschool. "I love you McCann" I kissed him "And I love you too Mrs. Mcann" he kissed me and I started to blush.

(Justin's POV)

I was extremely bored today I still haven't heard from Cailin ever since I talked to her yesterday at the mall. I know I should be patient but I'm one step closer to being back in her life again and that's all I could ever ask for. I decided to just sit on the couch with Baylor since he's the only companion I have at the moment. I just went on twitter tweeting and following fans back. I had recieved an email form Scooter saying that he has a new song for me to work on. I was really excited when I listened to what he wanted me to work on and gladly jumped on it. I filled Baylors bowls so for when I was gone he would have enough to eat. I thought about maybe giving Baylor to Jazzy and Jaxon because I know they really love Karma. But Karma is with Jake so they aren't able to see him that much. Maybe I'll give them Baylor next week. As I started to get lost in my thoughts I forgot I was going to head to the studio.I laughed to myself and headed out making sure I had everything.

It was 10:45 at night and I just finished the song up. I said goodnight to everyone and headed into my car. I got a text and got really excited hoping it was Cailin. But it was from a blocked number. I got confused and viewed the message. "Listen pop star hurt my baby girl and you die. You are extremely lucky I'm letting you see her I want my baby girl to be happy SO DON'T FUCKING RUIN IT!" I rolled my eyes at how pathetic this guy was I could careless for his threats but I was happy that he was letting Cailin see me. Shortly after as I arrived home I got a text from Cailin opening feeling happy and a little heartbroken from what it said.
