This night had been extremely tiring. It looked like it had gotten even darker inside the mountain, even though sunlight didn't get in. The darkness of the night shouldn't be able to creep inside the cave. Velena had left before night arrived. I had no idea where she had gone to, but I was worried about it. More worried than ever. Was she planning something to hurt Natsu? He still didn't believe me even after I told him about what Velena had said like a thousand times. She would take revenge on him. He had to believe me! But throughout the whole night I hadn't been able to talk to him.
As in I literally wasn't able to. I had no idea how he did it, but he kept on using poison magic on me.

The whole. Friggin'. Night. Long.

And no, it wasn't poison that made me lose my magic or sight, nor was it poison that hurt me. At least not physically. It would've been better if it had been that way.
No, it was something completely different.
Right now I lay on the ground in my destroyed cell. My hands were tied together behind my back, probably with Magic Rope. It wouldn't even matter, I was too tired to use my magic. I was staring into the distance, thinking about everything that had happened, everything I had seen tonight.

The thing is, Natsu had been using poison to enter my memories. It wasn't like he was looking through my memories, searching for something. He was attacking my memories with poison. Attacking them, changing them. I didn't know it yet, but I had probably forgotten about a lot of things. Some memories had even been altered. He had told me.

"You won't remember things like you used to. I can't wait to see the outcome. It'll be so much fun!"

Natsu had destroyed my memories with poison. Not all of them, I thought, because I still remembered my past and stuff. I had no idea how he had done it – I mean, come on, how could Natsu be this good at using Magic that wasn't even his own? But he had targeted memories. I didn't know it yet, but I was certain about it.

Natsu had stopped eventually, releasing his poison from my mind. I had collapsed and passed out on the ground, which was exactly where I was right now. Somehow all that poison in my mind, my memories getting destroyed and changed....it was too much. There was one memory I knew he had changed. One memory I didn't recognize.

My memory about the days before Natsu had kidnapped me.

It was different. I didn't know how, I didn't know what had changed. The memory just didn't look familiar.

I looked up with tired eyes when I heard footsteps. They sounded far, far away. To me it even looked like the footsteps came from outside the mountain, but that couldn't be true. My hearing wasn't that amazing.

The footsteps got closer and closer...until they stopped. I couldn't move my head, I had no strength left. My head felt heavy, my energy was gone. I looked at where I thought the footsteps had stopped and saw a pair of legs in front of the destroyed cell. Was it Natsu...or was it Velena...?
"Look at you..." the person said. A woman...Velena. She jumped through the hole and walked towards me. "And you still don't believe Natsu is the bad person. How pathetic."

Natsu was the bad person...but he couldn't be. He was my brother, the one I looked up to so much. The one who protected me if I couldn't protect myself. The one who was there for me like a brother. The only family I had. He couldn't be the bad person. Natsu had always been so innocent...so...childish. But the Natsu I had seen the past few days was someone completely different. He looked, smelled and sounded the same, he just didn't act like Natsu. Or at least like he usually would act. Revenge did change people...

"Don't...start about...that..." I breathed out, taking deep breaths. Velena sat down in front of me and took my head in her hands, making me look into her eyes. An amused smirk was plastered on her face.
